  5. Ben Folds Five - One Angry Dwarf and 200 Solemn Faces and the other one is "Losing Lisa" I doubt anyone will get this... If you do, then holy crap, you're awesome... This is my favorite line of all-time. "Je m'appelle resistance, but you my love Will rise above translation"
  6. i only like slow-dancing, its a turn-on for me... I hate hip-hop dancing with a passion... Swing Dancing is cool, if I only knew how to do it...
  7. holy crap, its after 6am
  8. also, people seem to think "indie" means "retro" or "vintage" like these bands labeled "Indie-Rock" like the Strokes, the White Stripes, The Vines, The Hives, Interpol, Kings of Leon, etc... Jump Little Children is an underground band, but people argue with me saying that they're not indie because of their sound, which is dumb, because Indie means "independent" not "vintage rock"
  9. SHIT i forgot Walnuts

  11. holy crap, 36 more women, 9 of which I'll actually love... lol, nah, just kidding.... Spark Tests are a load of crap anyway, they're only there to make people feel bad about themselves... Like for instance, it says I'm 30% sexy, when I've lived my life thinking I was 31% sexy... Man, was I ever wrong *hangs head*
  12. aw thankyou! Well, if the time ever comes, let me know
  13. then you probably dont have anyone in your household who browses porn
  14. a good test for friendship would be to confront him about this problem and let him know how it makes you feel when he does this sorta stuff. Work on a solution or set-up boundaries, like he isnt allowed to interrupt when you're with a girl. Or isnt allowed to drink when you're with a girl. A real friend would respect that. Maybe he is a real friend, if so, he'd respect your feelings.
  15. stop using Internet Explorer (or whatever you use). I switched to Mozilla Firebird and i havent had a single pop-up since. you can search for it on yahoo, and it'll let you download it for free. Its fast and easy, just like IE but without all the crap.
  16. Lee doesnt sound like a funny guy, I think he'd annoy the crap out of me. "Uh huh huh, can I touch my penis???" Like, OMG, like that is soooo FuNnY!! *vomits* You gotta be more witty than that to have a real sense of humor. He's trying to compensate for something.
  17. you have every right to be like that. You're not whining, you're just sick and tired of this scenario happening, which it does happen, all the time, to good guys. I know that situation all too well... Girls are always like "I just want a nice guy" and then they stop answering your calls and the next thing you hear about them is that they're having sex with their best friend's boyfriend. Girls who say one thing and do the opposite are confused, dont bother with those girls, especially if they're attracted to someone like Lee. Find a girl who not only says what she wants, but actually goes for it. This lee guy doesnt sound like a great friend, otherwise, he wouldnt have acted like that while you were trying to make a good impression on a girl, he should have given you space, but instead he seems like a spotlight whore who needs attention from every girl he meets. I feel your pain.
  18. its supposed to be sorta like Dances With Wolves, where he ends up on the other side and joins them against his own kind.
  19. a lot of people who have a last name like that usually dropped their real last name and go by their first and middle name, which is mistaken for their actual last name. For instance, John Stewart goes by his first and middle name and leaves out his last name (Leiberwitz). Elton John's real name is Reginald something... I forget...
  20. a lot of times, I see an artist blow away an audience with their live performances, but then I go home and download the studio songs, which turn out to be shit. I see a lot of artists here in atlanta who are like that, they'll go up on stage and deliver this charismatic performance and exude so much stage presence, and everyone loves it, but if they really sat there and listened solely to the song, they wouldnt be nearly as impressed.
  21. man, thats exactly what I was going to say
  22. it depends, both provide a different experience. Some live songs sound better than the recording (if you're there at the performance), and some live songs let you down. Live songs ON recording is a different story, in that case, I'd pick studio, merely for the quality of the recording. But when its "live" as in "being there" I'd pick both.
  23. i have no idea what happened, but I heard Dashboard Confessional around two and a half years ago, before he was famous and I bought "Swiss Army Romance" and loved it. I listened to it all the way through, all the time. Then all of the sudden, his voice started to bother me a lot, and I realized that all his songs are in the same key, same tuning, no diversity. Now it bothers me to listen to him. I do, however, respect him as a lyricist still, and the fact that he's got his own vibe, it just doesnt appeal to me anymore for some reason.
