  1. can you say like every time "we'll take the skinny kid in the back i guess..." and that was after they picked the wheel chair boy lol, holy crap, that sums up my childhood Phys. Ed. memories. What really sucks is when your only friend standing next to you gets picked 2nd to last and he's on the other team! So you're stuck with a bunch of guys who dont even want you to be there.
  2. its odd, I didnt hear Jeff Buckley until a year later. I've gotten comparisons to him before I even heard his music.
  3. lol, just watch, they'll get their own reality TV show like the Osbournes.
  4. ditto I personally dont like the punk trend, but I really dont care enough for me to hold it against someone, its not even a factor in first impressions. I personally think its a phase for teenagers and young adults, mainly because I've never met a middle-aged punk. I dont mind the clothes at all, but the music just sounds generic to me. To me, it lacks versatility: basic distorted power chords, simple octave lead guitar, mediocre singers. I heard a punk mix CD and thought it was the same band. Thats bad. Back in the 80s "punk" was about anarchy and disorder and having no sense of style at all (mohawks, leather jackets, weird combinations of clothes). Now its seem to have lost its meaning. I really dont care if people like it, it just doesnt appeal to me. Anyone feel me?
  5. lol, I mainly watched the Super Mario Brothers Super show on Fridays, because Fridays were Zelda episodes
  6. It depends on the licker. Is licker a word? i guess it depends on how the person is licking the tootsie-pop. Like short licks, or long vigorous licks.... lol, my mind is wandering...
  7. oh, sorry, i didnt see your post. My post wasnt directed towards yours. In his bio, Scott Stapp says he grew up Christian, and even thought about becoming a minister when he was nine, but then turned against his belief system when he was seventeen to find his own beliefs. They state (with emphasis) that they are not a Christian band. I agree with Stapp on his beliefs, but I'm not angry towards organized religion, just the fact that Churches seem to twist things around. POD, however, is a Christian band, they themselves have stated that they are.
  8. you say that as if Christianity is a bad thing... anyway, Creed states that they all have different beliefs and are not affiliated with any organized religion. Its out of respect for Christianity that they turned down the tour. They probably still would have turned it down if it were a Torah, or even a Koran instead of a Bible on Staind's album cover.
  9. Dire Straits did "Money for Nothing" the song with the computer-animation video from the 80s with the verse "I want my MTV" with that said, I'll get to the topic: Dire Straights - Money for Nothing
  10. I admit, you've got balls saying something like that, but the bigger the balls, the more likely they'll be kicked. I think my girlfriend (who's mostly spanish) would do the honors in this situation.
  11. 930 to get to the very center, 636 to get to the tootsie part. yeah, when i was little, i was bored...
  12. heeeeyy............ I have a favor to ask you all... if you like my stuff, would you mind sparing a minute of your time and sign my guestbook? It would give others who havent heard me a chance to read what other people think. I'd appreciate it a whole lot! http://www.chadyochum.com/guestbook

  16. I hate how people say that Goo Goo Dolls sold out when they mellowed out. It was their decision to take a new direction. Plus, they didnt think that a song like "Name" would be so huge, it was a personal favorite of theirs so they put it on the album, and they were shocked when it made the charts.

the ring scared the piss out of me, because right after the movie when I walked out, I went to the bathroom, and a fly landed right next to me. And when I got home, i saw that tree on a piece of paper! lol... i was scared for a week, lol... No other movie has done that to me... mostly because it wasnt so hyped-up when I saw it, I didnt know anything about it when I saw it.
