  3. seriously, I know someone who stopped being a vegetarian because she lived with Chickens and got to really see up-close how evil they are!
  4. speaking of dads, mine went to High School with Jaco Pastorius and I think they lived on the same street
  5. join me, my fellow gamers... together we will put a stop to the Chickens of Hyrule... for far too long, farmers have tried to raise them as food, but the chickens are counter-attacking the farmers with a massive army of flying chickens... Too many farmers have died in vain! Together we can bring Chick Fil A back from the dead! (ok, what the hell was that?)
  6. lol... how about this one?? "Do my eyes deceive me? Call me oblivious, cause I just cant see..."

and to think, the paparazzi markets their tapes to consumers as entertainment. You think its exposing the paparazzi for who they really are, but no, its entertaining people, and giving the paparazzi more money too!
  8. Rick Astley
  9. Keith, the worst singer in the world (dubbed by American Idol) is from here. My friend has a class with him.
  10. I was in a band called "Half a Band." I love that name. Then again it wasnt really a band, it was more of a half a band... ah forget it....
  11. *nudge* get her digits, dude... wait, bad idea... that'd be monsterous long-distance fees... I once dated a girl from Colorado (1500 miles away) and our phone bill was so weird that the FBI called us wondering why there were so many calls going to Denver.
  12. "and I said Heeeyeeeeeeeeyeeeeeeyeeeeeeeeey Heeeeeeeeeeyeeeeeeeyeeeeeeeyeeeeey I said Hey... WHATS GOIN ON?!" - Four Non-Blondes
  13. LOL! or Kathleen Turner Overdrive
  14. haha, I had this crazy idea... burn it to a CD with some other Christmas songs, and then during Christmas dinner say "hey, lets play some Christmas music" pop the CD in there, and when the song comes on, see how long it takes for them to start noticing it, lol... I can just see their faces... "???? uh... am I hearing this right?"

Mawidge! hah, it made me think of that guy from Princess Bride, so I had to say it...
  16. highschool is fucked up, and its been hell for kids like you and I, and heaven for the assholes who just want popularity and the thrill of stomping on the good people. The more I hated school, the more I wanted to become a teacher, to try and make things better, but the salary is awful. Teachers have no motivation these days. They get lousy pay, and the students are always to blame when they fail. I failed spanish and it was clearly the teacher's fault, but no one would have believed me. I skipped a WHOLE lot back in highschool, but back then it was ok, you could just make up your work, the rules nowadays are so stupid. You have to have a doctor's note, etc, etc... So instead of encouraging the kids to learn, they force them to go and make them not want to go even more... when will they learn? I wish i were a sub, I'd make school fun :sneaky: and another thing, give it a lot of thought, but dont let it keep you up at night, just think "I'll worry about it tomorrow" sleep is the number one thing you need when you're in a lot of pain. If that doesnt work, use NyQuil. Self-control has always been the hardest thing for me, so when i need to sleep when I'm upset, i usually cant, but any drowsy medication can change that. Also... There's an herbal tea called "Tension Tamer" from Celestial Seasons that has catnip in it. Catnip is like marijuana for cats, but it has relaxing effects on people. After three cups I'm out of it like that and I hit the bed like a ton of bricks. So if you cant force yourself, drink that tea. You can get it at just about any grocery store. Hang in there.

  20. I always tell people "never be afraid to write a novel" because I enjoy reading long entries/emails... Most everyone believed in different things, but we all were respectful of eachother's beliefs. Its hard to have a thread on religion and NOT see any debates... but its possible, here at Coldplaying.com!
  21. thats what I was going to say, but it slipped my mind when I started thinking of all the reality shows... The thing with those reality shows is that they're not even real! There's always some (high) percentage of fabrication and some form of guidelines that they give the "characters," telling them to act a certain way or telling them what to do. What would be the purpose of writers if the show was entirely real? It'd be like saying that "All My Children" was a documentary... Hah, if you think that these posts are long, you should have seen the religion thread from back in May...

your avatar is cool, mine is just plain ridiculous, lol
  23. I couldnt agree with you more. Whenever something strange like the Michael Jackon thing happens, or whenever the media blows up about things like Ozzy Osbourne being addicted to pills, It tells me that the media is in a slump and is trying to make money by making a big deal out of something... but meh... I really couldnt give a crap about this whole Trista and Ryan thing. They'll be divorced when the sex gets bad, and live off the money they split, pursuing their careers as... famous people... One thing that bothers me are people who make a living being famous because they're rich, like the freaking Hilton sisters. I've had enough of Reality shows. Why dont people focus on their own lives for a change? Now MTV is basically RealityTV, because they have *counts* fifteen reality shows, unless I forgot a few. Lemme check: Real World, Road Rules, RW/RR Challenge, Made, that new camp show with that really feminine guy, Tough Enough, Surfer Girls, Sorority Life, Fraternity Life, dismissed, tail daters, room raiders, Cribs, Diary, True Life... yep fifteen... Some arent as bad as others, like True Life, which states the reality of certain things that people go through. Other than that, the rest are useless and shown way too much. The only thing I can think of that keeps MTV "Music Television" is the background music in these reality shows, which is always some Missy Elliot song. Ok, that was fun. I'm done :)
