  3. yay! :D Update: Thanks to Christmas, I'm going to be able to have enough money to continue making this demo. If there's anyone who wants a CD, please email or PM me to reserve one of the first 80 copies that I'll be making. I'll need your name, address, and phone number (just incase). When i get around to actually selling them, the demo will be $5 for an acoustic mini-EP with 5 songs, including "Make it Happen" and "Sigh." I'll have to find out how much it'll cost to ship outside the US.
  4. no doubt the wayans are funny guys, its just that the first two had over-the-edge teen humor, which I cant stand... In my opinions, the Wayans made much better movies before Scary Movie.
  5. I figured Revolver would be #1, not Sgt. Peppers... I was surprised when I got the issue... Rolling Stone is iffy with me. The stuff they like, I respect and I take their word for it, but a lot of the stuff they bash I dont agree with. Sometimes they're a bit too opinionated, rather than educated... Not that Rolling Stone isnt a magazine with brilliant music enthusiasts, it is, Its just that a lot of the times, they seem to let their personal opinions get in the way of things... Especially movie reviews...
  6. Well, I used to go to Colorado to visit an old girlfriend, but when we broke up, i was cut off from the greatest fast food ever... Chipotle... Now that I hear that we have it in town, I'm happy again! All i need to do is find out where andrew works, and I'll be rolling in burritos again!

  8. we're getting a Johnny Cantino's somewhere in town (either Atlanta or Marietta). That place is incredible. Andrew you need to try their spaghetti, they cook it in a skillet with sauteed chicken and serve it steaming to you on the skillet...

the only part that was a bit much for me was the over-done wedding near the beginning. I'm sure it would have been nice in reality, but in a movie, it was over the top. Overall, I loved the movie, its probably my favorite romantic movie, each story was equally interesting, and the story was great, the acting was well-done, it pulled me into the movie. About half-way through, i started to wonder "where's Rowan Atkinson? he's on the poster for crying out loud." Turns out he's only in two scenes. But this is the perfect movie to see when you and your date are the only ones in the theater ;)
  12. man, that sounds awesome... however, its still loading after 20 minutes and I'm on DSL...
  13. hah, I have three copies of the original NES zelda. The only Zelda game that I never liked was the NES sequel, it was just retarded.
  14. LMAO, andrew, your avatar! I laughed so hard when i first saw that commercial, I was like "lol, does that say Poo Devil?"
  15. LED ZEPPELIN!!! I was a maniac back in highschool, but I've calmed down since then. Trivia Question #1: What is the only Led Zeppelin song that the band has never performed live? Top Five Favorite Led Zeppelin Songs: 1) Rain Song 2) Achilles' Last Stand 3) Stairway to Heaven 4) Since I've Been Loving You 5) Dazed and Confused Favorite Album: Led Zeppelin 3
  16. absolute no brainer... Zeppelin... Jimmy Page is a guitar legend, Robert Plant has a voice like no other, John Bonham is one of the greatest drummers of all-time, and John Paul Jones is a brilliant composer. From "Rain Song" to "D'yer Maker" to "Dazed and Conused" to "Bron Y'ar Stomp" to "Babe, I'm Gonna Leave You" to "Achilles' Last Stand" to "Fool in the Rain" shows that the band covers such a wide area of the musical spectrum: (in the order I listed the songs) singer/songwriter ballads, Reggae, Blues Rock, Folk, Latin Rock, Rock Epic, and Piano Rock. Led Zeppelin is a brilliant band that I wouldnt classify as a certain genre, because they've conquered it all (except the obvious: rap and R&B).
  17. hah, thanks... I've had that old avatar forever, so I decided to start having fun with it, the chinchilla with the sax takes the cake.
  18. haha, yeah, i figured there'd be another reason, thats why i put "other" as an option.
  19. if you see a wingless fly, what are you supposed to call it, a "walk?"
  20. has anyone noticed how this is the only board that receives compliments, thankyou's and praises for being such a great board? That really says a lot. I dont come here for Coldplay, and I'm pretty sure a lot of others can say the same. Coldplay fans are really nice people. I think thats why I joined this board. I tried to think of the one band that I liked that would probably have the nicest fans (and a lot of them too), so I chose Coldplay and found this board. Those of us who didnt stumble upon it joined by word-of-mouth, because of its reputation as a forum with nice people. Which gives me an idea...
