since we've already worked out everything with debs and she already scheduled a drop-off date with coldplay and their manager, the date can't really be extended. but like it says in the first post in the other thread, please send your card anyway (NOW). it will arrive eventually, and it might get delivered to the guys, just perhaps not in the big group with all the others. if you mail it NOW, depending on where you're from, it might make it there in time.

i'm betting they'll perform and i'm betting the camera will do a closeup of gwyneth's face at least once during the song. i hope for LIT ii.

i think either lovers or life in technicolor ii. i hear what you're saying above about it being a prospekt's march song and they're up for viva, but it is the current single. i wonder if they (meaning chris) would pull that one off any better than LIJ or VLV, but i know it's just his crazy nerves at awards shows and less about the song choice. i think it's probably going to be crappy no matter what, because chris gets all worked up for these things. i would think it would be completely awesome to do like they did before with politik and do VLV with a live string orchestra. even though chris would get really nervous, i think the epicness of live strings might slightly make up for that.

i know, that's the point till tomorrow--it gets people moving. then i change it tomorrow to say "ok, well you can still really send them, but HURRY UP." it makes procrastinators worry and get stuff done :wink:. but for those SUPER procrastinators...they still have a few days :lol:.

i remember my first avi was that pic of chris and jonny in B&W where it looks like chris is whispering something in jonny's ear and jonny's looking to the left, and i put a heart in the corner. if i thought hard enough, i could remember the sig. i'll let you know if i think of it :P

1. try to make it through the next semester with a decent outlook 2. get into the england program at my college (really not that hard, i'm expecting to) 3. MOVE TO ENGLAND 4. STUDY IN ENGLAND 5. see coldplay at wembley 6. get a better idea of what i (realistically) want to do in life i'll probably add more to that later.

oh yes, it's not like if you don't send them now they won't get delivered. but i think the greatest effect will be when the big box of cards will all be delivered together, and i would think that people would try to aim to be a part of that :D besides, the "final date" is more to encourage along procrastinators than to actually put a final date on the thing. tomorrow i plan to update the first post saying something like "you should have gotten in your postcards by now, but if you haven't..." just so people know everything's not lost :wink:

aww, i forgot about these years-in-review! :nice: thanks ian! march and june are going to be NUTS. does anyone remember the march craze, week of march 17? that was the best week EVER. oh yeah, and june...my calendar! wow, a lot happened then.

europeans definitely have a bit more leway with the time, brits especially, but since we don't know what date in january debs is planning to deliver them, they really should be in the mail, at the latest, like the 26th or so (for europeans--i assume within england, the post moves fairly fast and you could get away with sending it on the 28th or 29th or so). you're probably right about debs not knocking down their door on january 2, but i'd say better safe than sorry :D if you're from mexico, south america, asia, australia, africa, or anywhere else, TOMORROW IS REALLY YOUR LAST CHANCE. north america too, i would say, but i think, based on what i've heard, the US mail system to the UK moves slightly faster and stuff can get there in about 5 days. that aside, GET IT IN THE MAIL TOMORROW. :P i'm going to miss this project :sad:. not that it really took up a lot of my time or anything, but it was so nice to see what everyone put together and wrote, and i really think that we've done something really nice :nice:. i can't WAIT to hear from debs next month :wideeyed:

same, but i guess i could just as easily do it monday. then again, i have to drive to brooklyn monday afternoon for another christmas party. i love snow, but not when it conflicts with my plans.

my car's all snowed in too, but i could easily remedy that problem. i just hope my mom's willing to drive in it tomorrow, because i don't think she'll want me to, and we both have to get to this party :worried:.
