yeah, i didn't know what that was either. i thought maybe they were the first letters of their kids' and wives' names, but i don't think it is. hmm. i'll have a look at the blue writing under better light, but zoe could probably help us out by reading off her mug!

i got my tote too! :dance: i loooove it, i can't wait to use it! and it's nice that there are pockets inside for your phone and ipod and stuff, so you don't have to go digging. there are a few things in the light blue writing that i can't decipher, though. does anyone know what they say?

the first thing i would say is find someone to talk to. i think a lot of people get embarrassed about going to a school counselor or something, but it can do WONDERS for you. at the very least, find a teacher or someone you can really talk to. in a lot of ways, i know how you feel, feeling a bit depressed when there's nothing really wrong. that's really how i feel a lot these days, for lack of a better word. i'm currently in one of those life-holes, those stuck places where you're just waiting for the current stage you're in to pass and for the future to come in and for something to happen. for me, that means getting out of college, which i hate. i have a lot to look forward to, though, and that's what keeps me going. i would try to find something about the nearish future that you can really look forward to. also, for paper writing help, completely disable the wifi antenna in your computer or physically remove the ethernet cord :wink:. that's the only way i can get anything done! a bit scary that you've missed the college deadlines, though. do you have any plan for next year? for some people, a year off can be really beneficial, but for others, damning.

haha, well i'm home too, but the thing is that i sleep till like noon or 1PM, so i better wake up when the doorbell rings so i can sign for this thing! also, we had a huge icestorm today and my driveway is literally a skating rink. i doubt the trucks would be able to get up my driveway :lol:

i didn't mean like 2 or 3 years, i meant like 15 years and up of an age difference. that's when i start to think it's a bit strange, but certainly not wrong or anything like that. what i should have said was that at this point in time, i don't really ever picture myself with someone like 15-20 years older or younger than me. 2 to 3 years is absolutely nothing once you hit 20. i think once you're out of high school a lot of people stop seeing age as such a big deal.

*clears throat* just to go back to the original question of the thread, i write too :P. i don't have a lot of time to do it in, and i have an insanely hard time coming up with ideas. i think i'm best at writing formally, like letters and emails and all, but i love to write fiction :D

true that the writing wouldn't suffer since they're the same writers, but going from NBC to ABC is kind of a downshift in quality, so i figured the network-shift would just keep it static, not get it better. blah, that doesn't make that much sense now that i write it out. ah well :P and bill lawrence is from my hometown and went to my town's high school :wacky:

damn, jamie, i just found it (in 3 parts) on youtube! why didn't i even think of looking there? i mean, it'll be taken down soon, but it totally would have worked tonight. and according to wiki, episode 5 will involve sesame street muppets! :lol: oh, that's going to be priceless.

i don't know if we'll have them by friday, but we definitely should get word of them by friday. then again, zoe's right: if they just show up without warning, it would be a great surprise! :D i can't believe i bought another bag...:roll:. i've been sworn off them for about a year now, because i have a million. but this one is coldplay AND for charity, so really, it's a good exception :D

second episode was SO much better than the first, too! i'm glad to see the return of glorious scrubs, because i thought the quality of the later seasons was on a major downhill run. i just hope this season keeps it up what they set by these first two episodes. however, it's weird that the writing got better after they switched to ABC. i generally think that ABC shows have crap writing, whereas NBC shows (scrubs's old network) have fabuolous writing. go figure. also, i don't think zach braff can handle coldplay-esque stubble. he has too much of a babyface to pull it off IMO.

i don't really think it matters, though i can't really imagine myself with anyone drastically older or younger. not because i think there's anything wrong with it--i just don't see it happening for me. i think the younger you are, the more significant it feels. in high school, it was weird for seniors to date freshman or that kind of thing, but one year apart was pretty much fine. in middle school, it was totally weird for someone to date outside of your grade level. at college/uni age, i think it matters much less, though i do find it a bit odd when 19 year old girls are dating 30 year olds or whatever. however, i think it's kinda strange when all those older male celebrities (mick jagger, paul mccartney) marry women that could be their daughters. i don't think there's anything wrong with it, per se, but i feel like whole generation gaps are kinda odd.

lore, you would be my hero if you would tell me that website. house switched from tuesdays to mondays, at the same time as my roommate's show, so we're going to switch off weeks between her show and my show, but i'll need to watch house on her weeks!
