haha, now i'm quite excited to go! don't worry, i won't stalk the band. they won't even be in the UK then anyway, and i'd be too nervous to know what to say to them. i just want to scope out the area and take some pictures from the outside. i'm also working on getting a visual for the old flat they had in camden, which was their last clubhouse before the bakery. we have an exact address for that, so it's easy :D

i can't TELL you how much i love this song. i could gush for hours, but that would be annoying. i'm thinking this song will safely reside in my top 5 coldplay tracks for perhaps ever. i don't even really think that's novelty talking. i seriously think it's wedged its way into my top 5, even though i have no idea what it kicked out :P

i initially thought it was "fucked," but i'm pretty sure it's "flat." and i'm sticking with saying it's chris rather than guy...that's more chris-sounding to me.

i love that one! i love how he only indirectly references gwyneth, but when he does, it's in a hilarious way like that. argh, of course now that i'm asked, i can't think of many absolutely hilarious ones, but i did really like that one from whatever recent interview (Q maybe?) about the lawnmower...

there are about four million in my head just from all the VLVOD articles, radio shows, and videos! chris just happens to have exactly my sense of humor, so i tend to think everything he means to be funny is absolutely hilarious. i'll work on fishing out my favorites. but really, i think chris and all the guys are a goldmine for good quotes. damn search being off!

i think they should have still released viva la vida, but kept violet hill under wraps. i think VLV was a better indicator of what's to come, and they pretty much had to release something, so i think VLV should have been it. at the time, however, i would have said GIVE ME ALL THE TRACKS YOU CAN NOW. i don't regret hearing them, because they quenched my coldplay thirst and shut me up for a bit, but yeah, i wish they released ONE album track with TWO b-sides. that would have been perfect.

MO. THEY SHOWED THE STREET? is it on the online version?! i dont remember seeing it!! this would be AMAZINGLY helpful in my search this august! if you could tell me if its on one of the online segments, you'd be my hero!

what a killer interview. oh man, i laughed quite loudly at each one. george: "everything's not lost?" chris: [with an "ew" face]: isn't it? :laugh4: :laugh4: :laugh4: some of my own coldplay questions were answered in that, like which songs were seriously their favorites. chris said politik, yellow, fix you, clocks, and viva la vida. quite interesting, i think, but minus politik, i totally agree with all of those (well, i do tire of fix you, but it has its moments where it hits me in the right way). ahh, that was so good.

does it? hmm. well it looks like an hour to me when you add up the 4 videos, or like 40 mins, meaning about 20 mins total commercials. either way, those ones posted online are CRACKING ME UP. probably one of the best coldplay interviews i've ever seen. chris didn't know what a 2X4 was, OR cold cuts! :laugh4: (well, maybe "cold cuts" isnt a very british term; i don't know) i'm a bit sad that i only have one more segment left to watch, because this is BRILLIANT!

oooh. in the canadian show "the hour," chris says it takes exactly 46 seconds for him to walk from his house to the bakery. now, i know this is chris, king of exaggeration, but that could actually be true, given how close we know he lives to the bakery. not that it's very helpful to finding it, but it could prove somewhat useful...

oooh, nice thread, sandy! i'm actually moving to rotterdam, netherlands this summer to be an au pair, so once i leave in a few weeks, i'll have TONS of pictures etc :P and, like nina, i'm creating a blog specifically for it, so once that's up and running, i'll have a link here and in my sig :D and then on my way home in august, i'm having a nice long weekend in london, which i can't WAIT for. and that long weekend is going to include some coldplay-area stalking, even though they won't be in london at the time. so expect massive amounts of pictures :P

i assume that question in dutch was asking if chris and gwyneth are going to have another baby, but i thought chris's response was great! "i don't know who she's going to have it with, because i'm in holland!" i'm spending the rest of my summer in the netherlands, actually, so it's quite interesting to hear the language! good thing you guys have almost no accent at all when speaking english, because i highly doubt i'll be able to grasp dutch at all by the time i leave :D thanks for these!

haha, well it took me maybe an hour, maybe a little more to type all that out. when i get in the groove i can go pretty fast :P yeah, i just don't see much surpassing AROBTTH or parachutes, but those are the two hardest albums in the world to beat for me, so i don't think the fact that this is coldplay's third best album in my opinion makes it flawed or bad. AROBTTH and parachutes are in a different league for me :D haha, intense is definitely the right word.

it's funny, but when i saw this thread in bold a bit earlier on, my heart jumped a little like it always used to when this thread was in bold. but then i remembered we ACTUALLY HAD the album...wow. i laughed, definitely, but it's so weird to acutally HAVE what we've so been waiting for!
