that has to be a joke. theres no WAY theyd release every song as a single. whats the point?? then again, if by some miracle its not a joke, then WOOOOOOOT. i just hope we get studio b-sides and videos. thats why i buy singles. and i think its possible to get new studio b-sides with this one. it could just be unused stuff they have around, which is what id kill for. either that or "warning sign" live.

that was such a low blow. i cant believe they used 9/11 to make a joke. thats just disgusting. i believe the ads are truly affecting and beautifully done, especially the one with "fix you" in it. the ads made me want to see it (and also made me somewhat scared of seeing it), coldplay or not. then again, i am right in that demographic they discuss, and coldplays music probably did have at least a small effect on my desire to see it, but still.

(comedy central, the fake news genius) when X&Y came out last summer he wouldnt shut up about it, and when gwyneth came on his show the second time he basically talked about chris and coldplay and the album the whole time (he always makes an ass of himself when she's on...i think he has a crush on her!)

oh, i forgot! i also have the X&Y vinyl LP, which is the love of my life. ill probably have to get a new one eventually because i will have worn out the grooves. anyone know if parachutes and AROBTTH are available (for a reasonable price) on vinyl??

it kinda sorta depends on my mood between parachutes and AROBTTH, but right now id have to say AROBTTH, even though i love all of them. Parachutes is more of a nighttime album for me. so its pretty much a tie between those two, but for right now its AROB.

^god, i hope itll have an audio CD. i really hope it comes out before christmas! that seems to make the most sense to me, because theyll make the most money off it initially. (but i dont think any of us will wait to get it for christmas/hannukah! i know im buying it the DAY it comes out!) but im worried about what was said in an earlier thread, about chris not having enough time to edit all the film for the tour diary part. the tour diary is my favorite part of live 2003, and while ill kill to have the concert part, i dont think ill be anywhere near as excited if theres not a tour diary or behind the scenes part.

i actually knew the riff of this song before i knew who coldplay was really, and before i knew it was by the same guys that did "clocks". subconsciously, when i was like 12 and 13, i played the riff in my head when i was happy or excited. its such a happy song! if i get into the college i want, ill play this song ALL DAY.

^ hahaha, them coming to my school...i think theyd find it hilarious because i go to this tiny, tight-knit school that hardly seems like a school at all. but god wouldnt that be lovely...theyd get attacked by me and my friends, though. and our reverend is a coldplay fan, so theyd HAVE to play in chapel...oh! hahaha, yeah, it was only a wish!:laugh3: they take approx. a year in the studio anyway, so i know thats not realistic. but other bands have done one (and sometimes two!) records a year (but im thinking mostly of the ultimate super-band: the beatles), so we know its not impossible, but i really dont expect anything near that from our guys, given their previous recording tendancies.

no, i dont feel like youre arguing!!:) you know a lot more about this sort of stuff than i do, im basically just thinking out loud. dont worry about it! i know pretty much nothing about the touring world these days...im a huge beatle freak and their touring equipment and preferences were WAY different, so thats what im used to hearing about. they pretty much used two limos and a plane while touring, two roadies, and their manager. thats it. obviously coldplay and other bands need more than just 3 people besides the band, i just figured a lot of the electricians and such were from the venue and didnt travel with them. thanks for giving me the realistic side of these things!

oh my GOD, an ACOUSTIC version????? now i pretty much HAVE to see it, if thats true. its definitely the album version in the trailer (with some BRILLIANT cutting, IMO), but ill be on the lookout for an ACOUSTIC VERSION!!! *squee*

i know that chris, jonny, and will are all roughly the same height, but guy is about 2 or 3 inches shorter. thats mostly from looking at photos when theyre all in a line, but i think thats a pretty good estimate.

i have a playlist that's my top 10 favorite coldplay songs, and its hardly changed at all in a year. think how hard its going to be to only have 10 favorites once the new album comes out!! (if its decent, that is, and im fully expecting it to be)
