I figure you can ask anything you want...I asked a kind of selfish-yet-relevant question. They might not answer it if it's some sort of relationshippy thing like the Oracle gets, but I doubt there's specific criteria about what they will or won't answer :D

Speak the truth, yes, but not show photographic evidence of it! :P Until the paps got it all out, I guess...I'm still kind of surprised they weren't bodyslammed by security. They were really suspicious towards us til they realized how long we were prepared to be out there and then figured out we were just hardcore fans, not trying to spill the beans to the internet or anything for a quick buck, and then they made friends with us :lol:.

I highly doubt that this will have any other songs attached to it :disappointed:. And Phil said that the video will be out Wednesday too :dance:. Barring some sort of editing catastrophe, I guess.

He only just did it...I follow him on Twitter now, and he said earlier today that he no longer has reservations about posting the pictures from his phone because the bloody Sun had paps on the scene and the pictures are all over the Daily Mail and Just Jared and stuff :P

:lol:! I'm actually perversely proud, for lack of a better word, of the conversation I had. Mortifying, yes...but also hysterical and perhaps even vaguely memorable. Not that I care if he remembers me or not if I ever meet him again, and I probably wouldn't be like "hey, remember me?! We met at 3AM on your video shoot in the freezing cold and we talked about how badly I needed a wee!" but I got to make him laugh a bit :P Someday I hope to get a picture with the lovely Phil, though :heart:

I literally felt warm and fuzzy while talking to him. He just felt like a friend already, I don't know. I mean, the Elvis wig and the bedazzled bellbottoms were hard to take seriously, but that guy, man...:wacky:. To be fair, though, Chris introduced himself to me as Chris when he shook my hand :lol:. I almost snapped something smart back, but I'm glad I didn't :P. I'd talked myself into a hole with him enough for one night.

And they better put it on YouTube ASAP so I can screencap it and make .gifs...iTunes on Mac doesn't let you do that with its videos you download from the store :angry:

If they do a physical release, which I doubt because they haven't said anything about it, I think it would be on 7" vinyl rather than a CD. Which is EPIC good for me :P Anyone remember the list on the wall of the Bakery in the 60 Minutes interview? (sorry for the shite quality, damn YouTube) "PROMO/REVIEW COPIES TO BE ON VINYL." I know this isn't a promo, really, but it is a special release...but I do think they would have said something about "you can order it here..." if there was going to be a physical release :disappointed:

There are always going to be those people that spoil it for everyone else and you can't do much about it. I don't mean to sound all holier-than-thou or anything, I just have gone beyond furious and upset on this issue straight to sick and tired of it, and it just makes our case worse and worse. I AM SO EXCITED FOR WEDNESDAY. My group for a project wanted to meet Wednesday night and I was like "I'm busy...can we make it Thursday?" :uhoh:

I've secretly advocated this for years :lol: :uhoh: I'm not going to re-enter the fray on this topic, since I said my (long) bit the other day, but I'm going to make one small plea for us to let the flames die down now...it's over, and it doesn't help band-board relations to keep banging on about it for days afterwards. And something tells me it'll be slightly reignited on Wednesday when some Debbie Downer decides to make a comment that we're barely even visible in the video and it all wasn't worth it... Anyway, there's my two cents.

Like you guys and so many others have said, I think these titles are shite, but I also thought about 90% of the titles of the songs on VLV were shite, too. I actually got really worried when we got the tracklisting...and it all turned out pretty damn fabulous to me. I remember being particularly repulsed by "Strawberry Swing" and "Death and All His Friends," and those are probably my two favorite tracks, and were upon first listen. So I've learned to not really read too much into song titles (even if these are particularly pooey-sounding) and I just hope they'll turn out alright again for me personally :D

I actually found it fascinating that there were trees there all over the place, because in the video I highly doubt there's going to be any evidence of trees and it's going to look like it was shot in an indoor set in a warehouse or something. Sorry, I just found being on a set really fascinating, no matter who was filming what :P [/random thought] And yeah, Daniel, you were standing with us, so it could be you too! :dance: At the end of the day it's a black blob in our general direction :P

I'd say that means more Jonny and more whole band stuff, perhaps singing, to make it less like "Chris Martin and his backing band." Not that real fans think that's how the dynamic of the band works, but I think casual listeners and haters do...maybe this album will help it not seem that way? :shrug:

Haha, well thanks, but I honestly should just stop posting details about it. A) I could be very wrong, since I'm clearer on some parts over others and I have shite hearing as it is, B) it sounds like I'm taunting everyone, and C) to be perfectly honest, after hearing the song a couple times through, I was less concerned with the song and more with the fact that the boys were all in front of me and might come over, so I kind of zoned out to listening closely :P

Thanks a lot, Zoe :bigcry: Nah, I have no patience when it comes to Coldplay either, but it's just that basically every artist I love is either confirmed or rumored to be releasing an album in 2011, so if there's any year that I can be even a tiny bit more patient for Coldplay, it's this one, because I'll have other things to entertain me and make the waiting more bearable :P. Agree, I honestly think that they're saying late 2011 as a safety net...I feel like they have more of it either in the can or planned out than they're letting on. Unless it's posted on coldplay.com as news, my usual tact is to not believe a word about new material that comes out of their mouths in person or in interviews, even when it is good old Phil. I don't really agree about the German connection, though. I think this album is going to be just as much about anti-Nazis as VLV was about Latin America/derived from Latin American influences...that is to say, only a touch of a detectable flavor.

I'm of the mind that if you post pictures on the internet, you're welcoming people to use them and spread them around, and this is Coldplaying, fan pictures circulate like nobody's business :D I just thought it was funny when I came to this thread and I was greeted by my own face! :P And thank you guys for the nice things you've said :wacky:
