i like the acoustic one more because it's so pure. Chris' voice is much more present to and that's not a bad thing. It's the only song of the new songs that can ( still ) grab me by the throat. when i first listened to the album version it sounded like a remix of the acoustic one :P but like many of you say : it's a song that grows on you. but it will never top the acoustic version !

i really really enjoyed it ! and it was totally worth the wait ! fellow coldstainers ! our time has come to say goodbye :P now that most of us have had their first listen there's nothing more to avoid temptation from. unless we already start a thread to not lead in temptation for LP 5 :D that would be nice, cause i really enjoyed sharing our daily horrors of not trying to listen to it before it's official release. thank god for this thread ! enjoy your 2nd , 3th ...... listen everyone !!

finally it is here : the first listen :smug: LIT is playing now, i already heard it so it's a great way to finish my months of waiting... gosh i'm so excited :D

btw little question to those who already bought it : is the gatefold version much more expensive than the regular one ?

well to all those who are listening to it for the first time after purchase : congratulations :D knowing that the album was out there and you didn't listen to it, just to make this moment, you are having / had today really special. i hope you enjoyed it and know that it was worth the wait ! one more day for me though :smug:

the reason why we wait to listen to the new album, isn't because we're against the fact that it leaked, we don't want to listen because we just want the first listening to be all in ( buying the cd, looking at it while listenening, well for me this is ). I think that's a big misunderstanding here. people react as if we feel ourselves 'bigger fans' because we wait, but that's not true. we chose not to listen to it, but i think we understand very well that other people already listened to it. And just to say : so far so good, i'm getting less tempted every day. I hope i'll still want to buy the album friday :p

gah so good that they didn't stream the album on their myspace from belgium, don't know if i could've resisted :P thank god for exams too, keeps my mind of it :D only 6 more days to go folks !

I'm with you guys ! it'll be hard, I know but i just want to do it the official way :cool: go to the store after my exam to buy the cd and pick up the vinyl on my way, study the book on the bus and then home for THE first listen. gah i'm so looking forward to that moment :smug:

i think i didn't get tickets :( i spent all morning trying to get some, i even missed almost 2 hours of school for it.. the stupid thing kept saying that such an order was already made by that account, but when i log in and check ticket status it's says nothing :confused: i seriously am going to cry ...

am i the only one who's having a hard time believing this ? I mean, wouldn't they have annouced that by now ? And it next week, that's so soon ...:\ I don't know I have an idea just in case, but they probably won't take belgian entrees :veryangry2:

i'm in school at the moment that tickets go on sale, a real bummer. but i got my sister and mother so far to get up at 08.00 and try to order some, but knowing that they aren't the best computer users, i'm really in fear that i won't get tickets. But since i'm sleeping at a friends house on thursday i'll skip t he first 2 hours of lesson just to help out my mom and sister on the phone and try to order tickets myself via my friends computer. what a coldplay fan wouldn't do to get tickets....:smug:

does antbody know at what hour they'll start selling tickets ( Belgium venue ones ) ? cause i could be at school at that time edit : never mind, found it (08.00 h )
