I've been hearing/seeing Coldplay more than usual on the radio and the music tv channels. It's a bit strange because usually I don't hear them much at all.

There was another contestant who sang Clocks on 'Rock n Roll' night. He likes jazz more than anything though so his version sounded more like the Rythms de Mundo one. He did ok... but none of the contestants ever do heaps well with Coldplay. Then again I'm hard to please in that area.

Hairspray 10/10 I considered giving it 9 because sometimes the songs went for too long but then the ending was really nice and the movie as a whole made me smile so the 10 is sticking.

So funny! Made all the better because of their commentary. I watched it once or twice as it was then watched it with Spies playing instead and, as others have said before me, it's much less strange that way (but still a bit random). As much as I liked it though, it was probably a wise choice of Parlophone to not release that.

^ Yeah, I think everyone is overanalysing the song names. I like them so I'm a bit bias but I just think it's not something you can judge a song by. Coldplay have many strange songs titles. I share a room with my sister and she was saying to me that her friend told her that at night, the eyes of posters are the devil's eyes staring at you. This month on my Coldplay calendar it's got Jonny on it and his eyes are a bit intense (for lack of a better word) so now at night it kinda freaks her out when she's trying to sleep. Lol. She's 16 though, she's a big girl now. She'll get over it eventually hopefully. I'm really hanging out for this new album. I can hardly wait for them to start touring again. At least the timeline website is keeping me happy though (apart from the Bigger Stronger video not working).

I personally like the song names. They're different. If they were the same as so-called 'Coldplay names' then there would be people complaining that it's all the same and why can't Coldplay change? I'm just happy that we've been given this info. I can't be negative about it. As for the length... Just because it's shorter than the rest, it doesn't mean that it will be too short. Razorlight's self-titled second album is only 35mins long, and it's a great album imo. Lots of albums are around the 40/45 minute mark, it doesn't have to be a bad thing.

I think she meant that from the names of the songs, it sounds English. There aren't sound files to it. I'm so glad about this news!! I like all of the song names, I think they're great. I'm curious about the blacked out ones. Are they blacked out so we don't see them or were they decided against? Prospekt said that there is only a few more months left before it's finished. Can I be hopeful enough in assuming an early 2008 release?
