That design is pathetic. I'm sure many of us on here could come up with something better in less than an hour. A year in the making. What a joke.

Ooh that's a pretty awesome design right there! I havn't got an ipod yet, i might be getting one around Christmas time when the 'new' ones come out.

If you must know I upgraded to Vista because my XP system was being overun by viruses I couldn't get rid of. I use graphics packages such as Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro, which are compatable with Vista, and everything works fine, so Vista was really one of the solutions for me. I understand that programs are not yet compatible with Vista, and there are still some security issues, however it doesn't make me an 'idiot' that I upgrade before the service pack, if I know which steps to take to protect my computer. I wouldn't have upgraded if I knew it was going to kill the system. I've done my research, thanks.

It is decent - obviously there are better out there, but in context with the things I want to do with it, ie 3D modelling, video editing, its definately enough. Obviously it runs 3D games quite decently, then again I don't really play games that much anymore, and when i do play the only game I really play on here is Halo. Which isn't all that demanding. I have Windows Vista on here now, and it seems to work than better (faster) than XP so far, apart from some compatability issues. With the right drivers, the graphics card handles that Aero interface perfectly. In you dont plan to use Vista, you dont really need to worry about all that. Overall, a good graphics card, if your not a very heavy gamer. Its enough for me anyway.

Thats a good video. Proves quite alot. Although some of the flashes highlighted near the end could just be the reflections of the falling debris, the rest is fairly convincing.

That is odd, lots of people just seem to have obscure problems like that, mostly with the appearence and performance etc... If your friend upgraded to Vista, as opposed to doing a clean install, he might need to download the latest version of MSN Messenger, or uninstall it and then reinstall it. I think if you're unsure about "upgrading" to Vista, yeah its a good idea to stick to what you have.

Well the main reason for this thread really is anyone who is having problems with Vista, I might be able to help. Since I had to fix quite alot of problems after I installed it before getting it to work, on my own, I'll be happy to give people some pointers and solutions, within my experience. Well, I'll be here when you need me!

Wow this was eons ago. Yeah I chose the Philips x54, which now has Vista installed. Works great! (Although it took about a week to get everything up to scratch) Thanks to everyone who helped ;)

I only really use myspace for uploading my songs and seeing if people like them, to get feedback for the ways i can improve my music. I dont really use my original myspace accout anymore, I prefer facebook, which keeps me in touch with old and current friends. I think its wrong for you to say everyone who uses myspace or other similar sites are "all bunch of bored, silly and naive people.. thinking that they are cool and wanting to feel like celebrities or important with douchy comments that other people post on their pages and their photos." If it makes you feel sick then fine :thinking: ... but don't put us all into one catagory. Ditto. Yes I guess a lot of people are feeling like that at the moment, thing is with coldplay u never know when you're coming or going, so any information is just a godsend. What is really irritating is that im supposed to be revising for exams, and until they finish the website, im not going to stop checking every hour for any sign of a change. Not very clever i know, but this whole thing is like mental torture. Like the south american tour, for example, i stayed up for hours on end for about a week and a half, losing sleep over 'new songs' that never came in the end. Its the 1st of June tomorrow, i keep hoping they choose that day to put up the site. Because its just getting ridiculous for me.

If I don't see the new site in the next two days, i'm gonna give up waiting. And when it does arrive eventually, i'll be very dissapointed if they just put an X&Y theme up, and made those few other changes (removed the forum). I need something guys, to let us know you're making progress - album art, release date... ANYTHING. If it takes one month to put up nothing new, my hopes of their album coming out in 2007 are waning :(
