^Unless you already have them all... ^^ Well I've finally got it. MY Discbox. This is a beautiful item. I've also listened to both CD's while working. Disc two is great. I would've never guessed that DITNU would sound this way. I love Last Flowers and 4 Minute Warning. After I had listened to disc 2, here is the first thing that came to my mind : BOTH CDs FIT ON ONE ONLY 80-MIN CD !! WHAT WILL AL GORE THINK ABOUT THIS ?? IS THIS THE WAY RADIOHEAD REALLY TAKE CARE OF THE ENVIRONMENT ?? lol. Well, they really fit on one CD, with a possible transition between Videotape and MK1. Maybe one day they'll release it as one CD...

Well I don't know when I'm gonna get my discbox, but I know it's in my town (whole story already posted in the In Rainbows thread). Anyway I feel quite tense because of the Paris Tix : I'm really hoping I can get one, and it might be tough. If they start being sail, like, some random day at 10 AM, I'm fucked up, 'cause I'm afraid all tix will be sold in less than a day.

Well yesterday I found in my mailbox a paper stating that the delivery had been put in the post-office for the following reason : "Absent receiver". Which is total bullshit : everyone here has remained home for the week since my father died ! But you know, in France, post-office workers are lazy and I'm at school every hour it is open, so I don't know how and when I'm gonna get it. Just 'cause some stupid deliverer couldn't find the strenght to walk from my mailbox to my appartment (at least two floors by elevator...). So, well, I'm quite pissed off. This is so unbelievable : a postman leaving a paper so that I go myself to the post-office and get my mail. That's his job and I'm paying taxes for him !!

Well his heart failed while he was going home on his motorbike. He fell, then got on the side of the road and passed out, then away. Didn't suffer. I was to go and see Porcupine Tree with him last monday, so I went with a friend, which cheered me up enough I guess. But I'm growing off-topic, so yes, I hope I'll get these bloody tix : two days = 32 000 tix for the North half of France. The fight will be hard ! @Briggins : My real name is Marc. My Dad died very suddenly a week ago (heartattack) so.. well I don't expect you to cry for me, but I thought you should know. Gosh I missed Chris's birthday. I realise he turns out to be my favourite member. Hence my last post in the underrated songs thread.

A whole lote of B'Sides are underrated IMO : Banana Co., The Trickster, Bishop's Robes, Polyethylene, Pearly*, Trans-Atlantic Drawl (definitely one of my favourites). Even Radiohead themselves don't like Fog (dixit Thom Yorke @ le Réservoir) though I find it fantastic. For album ones, well : Blow Out, Bullet Proof..I Wish I Was, Subterranian Homesick Alien, Kid A (that's my opinion), Pulk/Pull Revolving Doors, You And Whose Army ?, Morning Bell/Amnesiac, Dollars And Cents, Sail to the Moon., Where I End and You Begin., We suck Young Blood., I will. Well you'll notice that for me, the whole Amnesiac album is underrated. I also find it terribly sad that people see I will., which is a wonderful three-voice song, as Like Spinning Plates backwards. LSP is I will. backwards, not the contrary.

Yeah I doubt Sunburn has ever been underrated. Great song though.

Better than all the others IMO". I laughed and she didn't understand why...

I'm French. About the specific genres, well, all stations are quite dedicated to crap, which is why I don't listen to radio at all. But actually, you have, for example : - NRJ : the most popular station, so it's all rubbish. Quite the French radio version of MTV - Skyrock : bad rap and bad U.S. Hip-Hop - Fun Radio : pop pop pop, only commercial stuff - Ouï FM : basically rock, but just the commercial songs - Le Mouv' : about the same, still, more independant - Europe 2 : Pop-rock, quite commercial, but some old stuff sometimes - RTL 2 : Pop-rock, only classics and some new and interesting stuff - RMC : all that's been famous in the two last decades - Nostalgie, France Bleu : old stuff (sometimes very old), almost only French. - RTL, Europe 1, France Info, France Inter : News and politics + the inevitable classical music stations (that I like actually) About the language, I'd say French people (in general) are too stupid to listen to the lyrics, so if you stick to silly things such as "I love you but don't me, so I suffer" or "I like how you move your body" or "I need to live because I'm alive" or even "I don't like the weather today", you'll make money in France, whatever the language is. They don't like instrumental music, though. A song must also be exactly 3 minutes long, and thaespeaker will chat over the beginning and end of the song, so don't put interesting stuff there. Unless you really like listening to some specific stations between 2 and 5 in the morning, you'll never hear alternative or progressive, or even creative stuff. Ad the whole day you have loads of advertising for supermarkets and insurance companies. Well this is how I see French Radio (and French TV is almost worse...), but I'm a rather cynical person, so refer to someone else for a more objective point of view ^^.

I agree with Marek about Showbiz : there's a poll on muselive, which is the song that represents Showbiz the best way : Showbiz isn't an option !!
