post non-coldplay songs that make you cry
Surprisingly, the songs that make me cry are not really sad : they're mostly songs about seeing beauty where or when you should be pissed at life : Grace Kelly Blues by Eels Saint-Denis by Grand Corps Malade Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd Samedi Soir (Sur Un Banc) by MC Solaar Hong Kong by Gorillaz And some others that I can't think of right now. Funny thing about those songs is that they make me cry, but I don't know if it's out of joy or sorrow.

Radiohead Week: Hail To The Thief
I Will is very underrated in my opinion. I think the three voices merged together are extremely powerful. It's only 1 guitar, 2 minutes and 3 voices, but what a punch to the face !! And one must remember that LSP is the result of a failed attempt to sketch I Will, which makes it a very important Radiohead song. Besides this, there are so many songs on HTTT thet I love that it's much quicker to say I don't like Go To Bed and Myxomatosis. I dig all the others.

Grammy album of the year 09 (who you want to win/who you think will win?)
I want In Rainbows to win, but I think Viva La Vida or Death And All His Friends is going to.

Radiohead
I voted Jigsaw. I think because of its duration and mainstreaminess it should be the one. Don't get me wrong, I love this song.
-
Which song will Radiohead play at the Grammys?
My money is on Jigsaw.

Radiohead
I second that. I love Parachutes a million times as much as I do PH.

Post-Rock Bands
I do listen to Explosions In The Sky and Godspeed, but that would be GY!BE, wouldn't it ?

Favorite Movie Soundtracks
As a huge Pink Floyd fan, I love More and La Vallée soundtracks. But more in general, I'd say A Clockwork Orange, 2001 : A Space Odyssey, Full-Metal Jacket, Pulp Fiction, Donnie Darko, Cruel Intentions, and even Goodbye Lenin! have real good soundtracks. I know, three Kübriks is a lot, but the man was really good at choosing musics.

Radiohead
Both two songs I love very much too. The bass on D&C is fantastic, as well as the "Why don't you quiet dooooooooooown ? - Crack your little skulls" passage. Colin did great work on this one. And 4-Minute Warning. The arrival of the piano is terrific !

Radiohead
Any Amnesiac song, and I'm in love with it. Yeah Pyramid Song is fantastic. The ending is so... can't find a word, but it always gives me thrills. Always. And anna111 : it's funny, because I've had sort of the same phase as you (if you go to my Last.fm profile, you'll see LSP is my most listened song ever). I think I get what you mean about its brilliance. I think it towers above the other Radiohead songs, because it's something really unique, and it sounds like the song Radiohead spent the most time working out (even if I don't think it is, but it sounds like it), and the fact that it was made almost by accident makes it seem like a scientific discovery. Plus, there's no way you could give it a genre tag, well, other than "Experimental". It is not my favourite, but I think Like Spinning Plates is their absolute masterpiece.

Your favourite covers
Indeed, it was really well done, as well as their Unravel cover.
