  1. Can't wait for tomorrow. It seems he was very sincere and open regarding everything.
  2. Last week I received an email from iTunes regarding Midnight release at 12:47 AM. Right now it is 07:00 PM.

    Welcome! Enjoy your time here!
  4. I wonder if tomorrow we will get to hear at least a preview of a few seconds of all the songs in the album (studio version). In the interview with Jay Z, Zane went track by track seeking comments from J. And from the promo video, it seems he did the same with Chris (at least with Always In My Head).
  5. Based on what I have heard and seen up until now, I have no doubt that the album and this era are going to be beyond amazing. The boys never disappoint.
  6. Freedom, everybody! If you want to hear it, go hear it. In my opinion, you are making a mistake because the quality is shit (unlike AIMH and Another's Arms) but you can do whatever you want. On the other hand, respect those who don't want to hear because they respect the band wishes. And finally, respect the band who wish to take down the audio because it is their legal right to do so. the end.
  7. This has to be one of my all time favorites threads. It is so refreshing to talk something deeper than usual about the band we all love. Having said that, I think that Ghost Stories will be another amazing album. I see a band that has understood that probably the most important thing when setting out to record an album is to try to reinvent themselves and their music while maintaining their style. And I believe that they have been incredibly successful at it. Here are four lads who have truly taken a certain degree of risk on each album with considerable excellent results each time. Yes, there will always be a group who is melancholic about the Parachutes era, while hating the more poppy Mylo Xyloto era. However, in my view, the boys have always deliver amazing songs regardless of the era. I concur that ETIAW, Princess of China and Paradise might not be the idea songs for many of us, but what about Hurts Like Heaven, Charlie Brown or Up With The Birds? Will never now if they do it deliberately just to sell more albums but I think that a huge part of their success has come from the fact that they always have a GREAT song to please either the poppy or parachutsy fans. Ghost Stories will be another GREAT album and I highly doubt that it will be a flop album. They have taken a huge risk doing a more stripped back album and already we can see that with very god results. This era simply confirms that they are here for the music and not the sales and that they will always have something to offer for listeners of different spectrums. Cheers.
  8. Exactly my point. It is very possible that Chris will not really talk about the end of HIS relationship, but just incidentally and in any case, very shortly. Thus, it is even more shaming that someone will edit the whole interview and precisely pick those seconds just to get the attention of the tabloids.
  9. Shame on whoever edited the preview of the interview just to get the attention of the press that it is interested in the GP-CM ordeal.
  10. I'll wait to hear this one. Nice to read the reviews, though (except the penis part, of course).
  11. Not sure if the best album, but it is much better that they think it is... Don't understand why they are so ashamed of it.
  12. That's good news. No more temptation.
  13. Up until now: 1. Always In My Head 2. Oceans 3. Magic 4. Midnight 5. Another's Arms
  14. I won't hear the song until it is properly released.
  15. That song sounded like the one they were perfoming in a documentary that was released after the VIVA era some years ago. Where Brian Eno bans Chris from the studio!
  16. Batman liked ASFOS? Then I think that those who are already condemning the song without having heard it are going to have to eat their hat.
  17. First time in a long long time that I want actually Monday to arrive fast!
  18. That was it. And the exact order was: GPASUYF, The Scientist and ASFOS!
  19. Which is your favorite Coldplay album up to now? Great review. Thanks!
  20. Does anybody around here knows something about the piano intro to Viva la Vida during today's performance?
  21. My review of the broadcast: Amazing backing vocals from Will during Always In My Head. Sounded much better than on the iTunes festival. Charlie Brown still feels full of energy and Guy's bass during Paradise was legendary. The piano on Magic was so much clearer today. Liked it even more, especially because of the extended ending. Still think that Clocks should take a rest from the set-list during this era. Midnight is a grower and live sounds fantastic. New effects were added to Another's Arms, sounding also much better than on the iTunes festival. What was that AMAZING piano intro before Viva la Vida? Fix You was a true gem as always. Oceans simply beautiful and Every Teardrop is still a great closer. Regrettably we were denied access to the encore, though! Please be calm everybody, we should hear A Sky Full of Stars soon enough!
  22. Amazing drawing zzz!!!! congrats!
