  1. Welcome Aboard the Coldplay magical mystery Ship, Kelsie!:sunny:
  2. What are the Menu options?:)
  3. I had a look at the show's Wiki - hilarious! Lighting a cigarette lighter with a backhoe - now that would have been something to see!!:laugh3: And it's funny - I have neighbors who's last name is Gottschalk - I wonder if they're related..:P Anywhohow, thanks again, Larry - and good luck swimming upstream and pulling that 32 ton barge!:)
  4. YES!! It was an excellent show - actually about work challenges, and how challenging maneuvering the ship into the dock was, without hitting the concrete supports near the hull! But they did show quite a bit of the festivities at the port, and a little of the city proper.
  5. :laugh3:God only knows how the synapses in my brain jumped the tracks there Kels! Yea, SCOOPY! Put perfectly. ..Ed Poe's works are incredible - but he's more of a later winter kinda read to me. I think he had too much eggnog, and the nutmeg got the better of him!! Anyhow, Santa's really an interesting invention - taking Saint Nickolas and embellishing on the story - really an American twist, and one of the really good innovations we've had in popular culture... But really, Santa is like everyone's Grandpa basically..;)
  6. OOPS!:) I got that one mixed up a bit with another poem.. Here's a site recounting the poem: Twas the night before Christmas Poem (yes, that's my favorite one too this time of year!;))
  7. Hello Larry! Guttentagen!:) I haven't the foggiest notion what the show "Wetten, Dass..." is about, or who will perform next on it - sounds like a variety show (Y/N)? Anyhow, perhaps ZDF has the lineup on the net somewhere.. It's great to hear from you! PS - I watched the special on Hamburg's (or was it Bremen's) 800th year celebration? The Queen Mary II was being repaired in a special dry-dock there - quite a feat to park a ship like that!
  8. :sunny::santa3: I'm just remembering how grandpa would hitch the sleigh to the horses, put the bells on the horses and the sleigh, and off we'd go on a real sleigh ride! It was a very fun, simple, and enjoyable thing, and I miss those times.. All you heard was the sound of the horses, the bells, and the winter air..
  9. Well anyhow, it twas the night before Christmas, and all through the house, not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse.. When along came a rap rap rapping, a tap tap tapping, upon the chamber door. In walked a man and 8 tiny deer, ..all dressed in red.. Well, truthfully there lives a Santa within each and every one of us! So who says Santa Doesn't exist? Tis' the spirit of giving, sharing, and surprising that makes the season, and the story, magic.:santa2:
  10. Oh wow! That looks good! Mucho Gracias, Bryce! Do you drink eggnog in Oz?? Better fix yourself one too;)
  11. One nogg Sir Bryce:crown::santa3:, please!
  12. OOH, Flamenco! ;-} oolala, :wink3:Cha Cha Cha !:) I'd gladly nibble the popcorn to free your toes!:P
  13. I had nothing to do with that!:laugh3: :P But I noticed you did have some nice dance moves;) Rumba, Samba, or Tango?
  14. Hey, hey, hey - we're professionals here!:smug:
  15. Morning has broken for the first time.. blackbird has spoken for the first time.. Linda say, "Any excuse to party.":laugh3: Is that what goes on here??:P
  16. Hmm// Michigan and Seattle? I are confuzzed!:laugh3: And now London? *passes out in lounge from exhaustion* Good night Maya, Escapist, Kels, NewYorkDude, and Rudy!!:sleeping2:
  17. This is the Twilight Zone. Do not adjust your TV. :rolleyes:Thanks Escapist! Wish I had your finesse with computer graphics!! ;) Maya's just starting to party, and we're seeing the sun rising here!
  18. You came along, I wrote this song for you - and it was all yellow.. :>
  19. Hey, I already wrote Coldplay one song - I know something!:P
  20. Whoa, one thing at a time here! I can adapt the singing part in the key of C to piano (I know, LOL!):) Maya, you start.
  21. Say, there's no piano part for Yellow!:laugh3: What'll I Do??:\
  22. Pardon Moi? Oh, yes - this is an upright Grand, Chicago machine.. I''ll just roll it into place right over here *Grunting sound* Yellow? As in banana yellow? :>
  23. Sounds cool to me Maya! Do you know Chopin?:P Actually, I've been working more on boogie-woogie rag stuff kinda, but more modern..
  24. I'd offer a private concert, but nobody wants to hear me play..:bigcry:
