hey! sorry to hear about your sore throat. you could try this, it's pretty effective: take a ginger root and cut some of it up but don't chop it...just cut it in chunks or slices (preferably thick slices). you can peel the bark. then put the ginger roots in a pot with some water and add some cinnamon (optional). boil it. afterwards just sieve the stuff and drink the water....it's like a tea...you can add sugar. if it's complicated, just cut some ginger root, peel it and chew it.... i hope that helps!
