22-Jul-08: Chicago - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos
There is an L stop pretty close to the United Center (walking distance right next to the expressway)...going west. You probably could take a line coming from the south and then transfer west. I'd have to look at a map.

Chris Martin on air w/ Ryan Seacrest
Would have loved to hear this... I like Ryan Seacrest....it was probably funny "when your father is a musician, it is better not to be around him for a couple of days." Haha...at least he is thinking of them and he is aware of how he probably acts "For reasons I cannot divulge this morning, this means a lot to me." Aww...it sounds like he had a bad day or something...it sounded actually humble! :)

23-Jul-08: Chicago - Tickets, Preview, Meetups, Review/Photos [original date 04-aug]
If they are the same price...maybe floor. The problems is that they are quite a bit back...but if you want to be in the midst of the fans and have that kind of experience you may want to get these. You may experience the effects and sound better. The only thing is you may not be able to see the band as well. I'm shorter, so I understand. The 200s are still up there..but you have the first row. You will be able to see the band, but they may be tiny if you are directly opposite to them. But, your view will probably be good of the whole stage and audience. That's my two cents...the only time I was on floor was for U2. At the time I didn't care if I saw the band or not and they had screens... it was general admission and no seating, so I don't know if that makes a difference. I couldn' see the band all that well...but sound wise, I must say that was one of the best concerts I had been too. I also paid around 25 bucks for them, so I wasn't too picky. Since they have assigned seats now...I wonder if that helps keep people spread apart so that you can see better or not.

Gwyneth...
I just saw this article in people...don't know if it is up yet. I thought it was funny & cute. I remember when I used to wear my mom's tank tops as dresses too...I can't believe I remember that far back! I guess Apple is no longer playing with her father, painting nails & such. Now she is playing with her little bro! Gwyneth Paltrow: Apple Makes Moses Cross-Dress! At 4, Gwyneth Paltrow's daughter Apple loves to play dress-up – and she isn't shy about getting her 2-year-old brother Moses in on the act. "She makes [Moses] cross-dress," Paltrow, 35, told PEOPLE at Wednesday's launch of Estée Lauder's new perfume, Sensuous, in New York City. "But she doesn't put makeup on him!" Maybe because she's keeping it for herself: "My daughter plays with anything that's girly. ... She loves makeup," said the actress, who is married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. "She puts on the eye shadow and my high heels. ... She likes to take my tank tops and make them a dress. And then she asks me to tie a rubber band on the back so they stay up." The budding fashionista is also a fan of Mom's fragrance. "I don't like her to spray perfume on herself because she's so little," says Paltrow, "but she likes to spray it on me." But it's not all maternal duty for the star. After a day of dress-up (and the inevitable cleanup), Paltrow makes sure to decompress. "Oftentimes when I put my kids to bed I’ll take a bubble bath and have a glass of wine," she said, adding that she also likes to play chef. "I don't make complicated Japanese food or anything like that," said the star, who recently admitted to having lots of lovely vices. "But I cook all the time, so I’m always trying new stuff." Coldplay will be on David Letterman (06/30) and Jay Leno (07/17) 2008
Woah...I knew it....How did I miss this again! I will have to check Letterman on repeat or the internet... (i have just seen that they didn't air it! Yipee!) For Leno I will have to make it a point to remember. They have to do Conan! They have almost always done Conan. The first time I ever saw them in any sort of performance was on Conan, when they sang "Yellow!" Their Christmas performance on Conan was cool too!

How Big Are CP In The US
They are big...but I don't know how really big they are. They definatley sold out tickets and more and more people know about them. I think they have gotten bigger through all of their marketing. I think they are still more well known in the UK as one of their biggest bands...here they are a big band, but there is a whole lot of other music and musicians that are big too. Why is it so important that they get BIG anyways? I am glad that more people appreciate and care for their music, but I think that the music itself really is the most important part.

Magazine cover
Neat! Looks like a great article! The pics are nice... Where is the "Chris flying in the air" pic from? I have seen that before... There are not a whole lot of pics in the cd album...which I was a little dissapointed about... is that pic going to be in the "Viva la Vida" video...it would be an awesome idea to make it kind of Matrix like or is it on something else I didn't see?

TODAY SHOW (27th JUNE) COLDPLAYING EXCLUSIVE OVER - VIP PASS WINNERS ANNOUNCED
You haven't checked into your hotel? You're crazy girl...sounds like a good time. Can't wait to see pics. I once went to an outdoor TV concert for Good Morning America here in Chicago...the sound was way lower (softer) live then it was on TV...I don't know if they do that on purpose as to get the sound right when they air it...
