if there is absolutely nothing else to do & the place is really quiet - i log out, check my email then open up coldplaying to see if anything has been updated and if not, close my laptop and go outside. the board has been really quiet lately but that's totally understandable.

the earth was here before us, in better conditions than when we began roaming this earth so it's clear it would flourish without human presence. other phyla which existed before us would contribute with less destructive by-products such as phyla nematoda which could maintain and restore the earth. but anyway, we're here and here to stay so :tongue:

what we are now is far different than what we were ten years ago technologically, and the same goes for ten years before that. no one could've known for sure the internet would've taken off as fast as it did but you'd have to assume, expect even, that it would've and the demand for it would grow just as we demand for bigger (well these days, smaller) and better products all the time. anyway, as long as it doesn't get slower, i'm good :cool:

a valid reason to why we should not only continue teaching it, but perhaps emphasis it's importance, anything but cut down the teaching range in schools.

^ let's not make this another thread about that. regardless, it's part of our history and from history we learn from our actions, good or bad. cutting down the teaching of such events that have helped shape today's world is a mistake. people should know the historical characters that have influenced the histories of many countries. to know why and where we are, we must understand where we have been.

that's ridiculous. i don't even know where to begin to explain how terrible that is. i feel sorry for the next generation who won't even know why it was such a loss in the first place. .

munich 7.75/10 it was captivating at times, but i expected something a little more. the acting was amazing, it felt very real and almost like i was intruding on a private conversation. i can't see myself watching it again but it was still good and i'm glad i saw it.

apparently the book is insanely scary that you have to show you're 18+ to purchase or borrow it. well that's what my creative writing tut said. either way i temporarily forgot the name of the book so thanks for reminding me :)

it's true, the place is wonderful, especially the south island which i highly recomment you visit. beeeeeeeeeutiful! i plan to tour europe one day, more specifically northern france and east into belgium and netherlands.
