^ long hours can really take a toll on your body! back in high school i could stay up really late as in 3am and even pull a couple of all-nighters but now, there is no chance. i'm in bed by 1am at the latest, midnight is my usual bedtime now. only during exam times do i summon the strength to stay up really late but that's in the most extreme cases. right now it's 11pm and i'm already so sleepy - thank goodness tomorrow is friday
  3. whenever i get online to check me mail i'll frequently pop in to see the WoM forum then some of the others. i'm usually doing that from uni on weekdays, and at home on the weekends.
  4. i couldn't remember what else was happening on this day besides Will's bday, so sorry for the late greeting - but i did know there was something else - honest! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOSH!!! hope you had one bloody crazy night  :D :nice: it's one of the few days you can totally lost it and it be completely fine
  5. very thick italian hot chocolate!
  6. ^ oh true. it was that, uh, intense lol. today was a great day. nice weather, easy classes that finished early, got home to the sunny coast, chatted to a couple friends and had a wonderful dinner :nice: yep. great day!
  7. feeling much MUCH better now :nice: how wonderful that everything sorts itself out :D
  8. yesterday this guy was waiting at my bus stop and i'm not kidding, he looked exactly like Will! initially i was going to run up to him. it was semi-surreal. as though someone famous like tom hanks walks into a crowd and no one says or does anything. anyway, he was his exact twin i tell you :stunned:
  9. i'm feeling a little sad. a great great friend of mine left yesterday, back to the states.i miss him quite a bit already. the feeling will pass eventually so in the meantime let's browse the lounge for something interesting till i have to leave in an hour.
  10. the whole movie is full of funny bits imo, from start to finish. the reviews have been nothing but great, even from people who haven't watched the series  i find it hard to believe it's the worst film you've seen in ages and that it's rubbish, the latter is certainly not the case. oh well each to their own
  11. ha, yeah maybe it'll come down to that. there is no number to ring or address to go to - they aren't leaving me that many choices :shifty:
  12. edward scissorhands. i first saw it when i was a child and it freaked me out for a good week. i had no idea who johnny depp was back then. great movie.
  13. ^ hm that just reminded me. at bus stops there are always those adverts for movies & they are really huge posters and atm there are heaps for the simpsons... i'll contact someone about that... but who? and the search continues...
  14. :stunned: that is ridiculous ! half the humor is in the way that characters sound and say their lines :/ that's unfortunate.
  15. the homer simpson scream
  16. that actually made me laugh out loud :laugh3:
  17. the simpsons movie already rated it in the thread but it's something i'd recommend for all because it is that good. see it, even if just once. 10/10
  18. they work together for charity, i think it's totally been taken out of context by the media, like most things. this is bono they're talking about. ... making music for the sake of making music... that's the U2 way! :nice: looking forward to it!
  19. i listened to heaps of r&b and hip-hop before i headed into all things rock. that's not to say i still don't listen to the stuff because i do, and like all genres of music, you have your bad and good. don't waste your time defending it to those who simply diss it, you have better things to do.
  20. i think by now the simpsons movie has been released all over the world. you know how you can put bids on large posters from upcoming movies at the cinemas, well i got a bid for this enourmous homer poster & when i went back there on the 25th, maggie alone cost $100 with bart selling at $200. who knows what homer is going for?! no less than $400 is my guess. i do however have the cardboard stand-up of homer grabbing the donut so not all is bad...
  21. i wondered where this thread had gotten to! a bunch of us got together for dinner tonight. all school friends who schooled in png and now live in aus or usa. it was great seeing everyone together again - can't wait to do it again!!!
  22. i'm going to miss my friend heaps when he goes away soon. edit: good one ^^^ did you meet all members? how exciting regardless!
  23. too funny! Ned Flanders: The Good Lord is telling me to confess to something... Homer Simpson: Gay gay gay gay gay gay as you can see, i can go on and on...and on.
  24. yellow - coldplay turn in to something beautiful you know... for you i'd bleed myself dry it's just so bloody beautiful
  25. couldn't think of anything atm but that is a great suggestion! ^ heya stranger, nice to see the crazy Caz on here now and then
