true, the weather and entire water system in aus (well mainly brisbane) has gone haywire :uhoh: the only thing that really stands out as negative about aus, is the lack of or decreasing sense of identity. from a general point of view, we seem to be copying american culture which i think is a real worry. this and the current water restrictions are annoying.

wow mariana, that's terrible. i lived in papua new guinea (aka png) all my life until 2 years ago when i moved here, australia, and the difference is liberating. in png, the crime rate is ridiculous, uncontrollable. assult, rape, murder - the whole lot happens on a daily basis like it's normal there, but in no way did i think i had to stay locked up in my house. that would be the real crime with me as the victim. some of my closest friends have lost friends/family to the most stupidest reasons, some for no reason at all. the best thing is to be cautious but the last thing you should do is hide away. i think when something like this happens, your initial reaction is to secure your safety to ensure something similar doesn't happen to you, but if you do that, nothing ever will happen, the bad as well as the good. you just got to take whatever comes your way, the good with the bad otherwise life becomes...boring. you end up robbing yourself.

Favs: History, Biology, Math, Chemistry, World Literature Least Favs: Physics Actually I enjoyed every subject, especially those. All except physics :ugh:

in this instance, how can you not? i'll be the first person to choose animals over humans and not flinch when saying here because this thread is about animal cruelty, not abortion.

omg :( this is horrific stuff. completely distressing :veryangry: humans are the worst connection to animals. and 6 months? that's it?! i waited longer for the cp concert. i hope people like that get what's coming to them, in this life or the next because justice is never served, esp with punishments like that for such crimes.

i agree with the album. nearly all tracks on hopes and fears are great but majority of songs on UTIS are just... . . .not really anything, not memorable at all. when i compare keane and coldplay, it's lyrically and instrumentally where coldplay are more diverse and way more abstract. coldplay are always no.1 with keane one step behind, imo of course.

tom is clearly shorter than katie, but the second pic is an extreme exggeration since he is behind her so it's invalid in comparing it to the wedding pic. with that said, she is most likely bending her knees as the bottom of her gown in a little scrunched. who really knows. i think the entire publicity surrounding the wedding is ridiculous, i mean the news are acting like it's a worldly event necessary for front covers of newspapers, radio announcements and news telecasts...they got married, it happens. but is all this who-ha really necessary? :thinking: interesting article though lol

lol I really feel for you but this post make me laugh :lol: O well, A LOT of fans will miss out but what can be done? There are heaps of bands (well-known and not) that i would love to come here and perform, but that's not going to happen anytime soon...I just thought Keane would've seriously considered here.
