25 or 53 Songs In the new album A Head Full Of Dreams (According to Davide Rossi)
Tongue in cheek perhaps? :P Or maybe a double / quadruple album on the way? ;O

Brandon Flowers - The Desired Effect
I Can Change and Lonely Town are my favourites from the album :D A lot of the tracks haven't stuck for me as much as I thought they would but overall, my favourite album in 2015 so far :)
-
Imagine Dragons - Smoke + Mirrors
Anyone else surprised at the lack of attention this has received from the music world in general (except live)? Under 10m views for 'Shots' in under 3 months, much less than the likes of 'It's time' and arguably just as strong musically. I'm going to see them in November, got tickets a while back :D

The Muse Thread - Hate This & I'll Hate You
Must not be very long until we get to hear the full album :) Strong and consistent album from the tracks I've heard so far!

Mumford & Sons
I think that too. A little bit more variety would of made a greater album but it's still a good great album imo, it's growing on me more. The Wolf is my favourite song by them for sure, the riff is too catchy. A great driving song :)

Coldplaying Asks Coldplay: it's YOUR TURN to ask the question! (CLOSED: find out the winning questio
Very useful summary, much appreciated :)

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
It is 99% certain guys (The 1% being Chris not stating Stargate's name :P), after I weighed up the facts and sources to get to that conclusion. Unless it comes from the horses mouth (i.e the band), it's always about assessing (as a news site) what you see and basing your wording on the probability or choosing not to post if it's not reliable enough. Of course there's always a very small chance of being told the wrong info and the sources are a dud but that's the nature of posting news :) And probability wise, that Miracles / Sky advert news was 80% likely. It was convincing and many sites decided to report on it. They chose a level of probability they were comfortable with and got it out there and on that occasion it wasn't correct. Those things happen, it is what is and the majority of the time, most Coldplay fansites are spot on and are great with what they report, to keep other fans in the loop :) The fact that Chris mentions Norwegian producers, as a plural, rules out Magne from Apparatjik, with no apparent alternatives, unless someone would like to put forward another group of Norwegian producers you know of? It's been mentioned before that Stargate have been working with Coldplay but I think most of us fansites haven't picked up on it. Skepticism happens, as the production group is not to everyone's taste. Hopefully there will be some footage or interviews before the album to shed some more light on the musical direction :D

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
Based on the info, i'm confident to stick my head out on this :)

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
Very nice spot! Stargate have worked exclusively with pop artists, not a guitar in sight. The band said they want to break barriers in music. It's a contrast in styles for sure, the music will be very interesting :o However, I do hope it's not produced like 'A Sky Full Of Stars' was. It was a good song but too 'filtered', it would of been better going either side of the road, with full on Avicii production or more rock based with louder guitars. Something more honest, than trying to please I think is the best summary of what my hopes are :)

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
More info on these producers anyone? Thanking them suggests that they have finished or are well into the production of 'A Head Full Of Dreams'. There's a certain aura hanging around now, like something big is about to drop!

Attention - Those who bought tickets for proposed Amsterdam show
Of course you are, outside of Coldplaying. My advice would be to be honest and transparent with it, making them aware of the likelihood of this happening, if you are not already.

Please rate the Coldplaying app on Google Play / iTunes store
Hey everyone :) Hope you're all enjoying the new app :D You can click here for the info and download link if you haven't downloaded it already. I will ask for just a minute of your time, by rating the app on the store you downloaded it off. Having many ratings boosts the app so more fans can see it, so I would appreciate your feedback :) Google Play / Android - Search 'Coldplaying' on Google Play then scroll down to where the five blanked out stars are then select your rating (5 stars for the best feedback) iTunes / Apple Store - Search 'CPing' and there should be an option to leave feedback for the app Many thanks :D

Attention - Those who bought tickets for proposed Amsterdam show
I've changed my original reply. I said you can try but what is the plan exactly? Coldplay HQ know of this already and they make the decision so there's not much that can be done other than waiting for the promoters to get back to Gerben. I would ask for this not to be promoted at all because its almost certain it's just going to waste fan's time, when they'll probably get a refund back anyway. If it does happen, there will be plenty of time to buy the 400 tickets on offer, if its only posted on the forum at first.

Attention - Those who bought tickets for proposed Amsterdam show
I'm seeing the link floating around still on the social networks. To quote from the first post - Coldplay HQ have confirmed it 'almost definitely will not happen' < and that's the direct quote from the email. We'll all be getting a refund and in the meantime, please assume that it's been cancelled. The probability of this happening appears to be extremely low. If it does happen then great but you're most likely going to be disappointed if you're holding out hope for this.

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
I agree with you on that. It's the atmosphere they're so good at creating and their two best albums imo (AROBTTH and X&Y) are pretty dark. I also think their two most uplifting songs are ETIAW and Paradise, which makes me optimistic for their new efforts. The riff from ETIAW with the atmosphere of Paradise would be the perfect blend :D

Thanks Demelza :) I've seen the email you sent me. Just awaiting a reply on my end, to get a contact for you.

Attention - Those who bought tickets for proposed Amsterdam show
It is what it is, I wouldn't feel guilty about it, it will play on your mind and doesn't benefit you whatsoever. It just did a Ron Burgundy ;) I would of previously done the same thing :P

Attention - Those who bought tickets for proposed Amsterdam show
For the attention of those who bought tickets to the proposed Chris Martin in Amsterdam show. Coldplay HQ has confirmed to me that the email from Dave Holmes, which supposedly gave the go ahead for Chris to perform in Netherlands (in the other, now locked thread) is fraudulent, directly from Dave himself. Because of the fraud (from who we can only assume is a third party, not linked with the live on demand website), over 100 tickets have been sold. Now, there is a money back guarantee, if an event does not take place and Coldplay HQ have confirmed it 'almost definitely will not happen', so that guarantee will be called upon. Please be patient for this, Gerben is speaking directly to Live On Demand, letting them know what happened and you'll be kept up to date on this thread. Obviously, everyone's disappointed about this. It's one of those things that happens online. Gerben deserves credit for trying to organise something like this though, which seemed very unlikely but did all they could to make it happen and was even interviewed by a radio station - a very interesting experience! Lesson here for those of us with great enthusiasm and ideas, is to not do anything differently apart from double checking with me or the mod team and we'll try and get in touch with the right people to confirm everything first, if something esculates like we thought it did. Hopefully, the whole band will go to The Netherlands in the near future and all of us will be there anyway ;)

Get Chris Martin to The Netherlands!
Locking this thread, please read your PM gerben. I'll make a new thread with an update on this shortly. It won't happen because the email wasn't legit. Dave Holmes was contacted by Coldplay HQ and he didn't send out the email and it's almost certain the event will not take place

LP7- "A Head Full Of Dreams"
It does appear to be his handwriting. It could be an inside joke :)
