I went to get my haircut this weekend and the hairdresser was using a $149 flatiron, I was going to buy it, but then hesitated. She said they have ones that say "rusk" on them which are identical and $199. I did however buy a Aveda smoothing finishing creme to put in after I style my hair, it was $28 for a teeny bottle.

I have a con-air ceramic straightening iron.. if I find a picture of it, I will post it. I am considering buying a salon straightener as they actually work very well, but I don't want to dish out $200 (or more) unless I know that what Iam buying will actually work. Also, there is the option of chemical straightening. Has anyone tried this?

I have naturally wavy hair and I wish it were straight. I have bought various hair straightners/flat irons, some work better than others, but I just don't get it straight enough. I've been using a real iron (like for ironing clothes) on my hair lately because it gets it perfectly straight. Any suggestions, does anyone else do this?

Morrissey was suppose to be on Kilborne all week, but he got ill and Kilborne is hoping for Wednesday - Friday, but he might not show up at all. I was disappointed after staying up to watch it last night.
