The list of UK releases will be out on Monday. We'll see then if there's a UK release for this. I'd put money on yes.

(Did a search for this, couldn't find anything!) So, this is coming out for Record Store Day on April 21st. Limited to 20,000 copies on random mixed psychedelic vinyl. A few interesting collaborations (Ke$ha? :stunned:), but the interesting one is the last track... Anyone else heard anything about this?

I am in love with Eat Raw Meat at the moment. I think it'll be worth the £20 to see them on Thursday for that one song alone.

I hate this idea that thinking anything related to the Nazis is in anyway impressive means you support them. Of course the Nazi Party was full of showmen, look at the rallies. Cathedrals of light, hundreds of thousands of adoring followers all there to see one of the best orators of the 20th century.This orator was completely and utterly batshit insane and evil beyond measure... But that still doesn't change the fact he had the rare ability to keep a crowd of millions captivated and then drive them into a complete frenzy. I seem to remember there being a fuss some months when some popular figure said he was fascinated by Nazi architecture. All I remember is thinking; "yeah, it was pretty impressive". Because it was. Still, Jackson wasn't quite all there, as we can see from some other comments of his.

This is kind of sad. Oasis badly wanted to be the Beatles. And they were the Beatles, badly. Second-rate Beatles tribute act, we barely knew thee. Although they might carry on. Giving away CDs at concerts for free is hardly new though (Prince is the first example that comes to mind). Hopefully another massive band doing it will inspire a few more imitators, though! I am a bit disappointed there's no GPASUYF/Talk, it would be really nice to have an official release of that.

Has that been confirmed? There seems to be a bit of confusion as to whether it's LeftRightLeftRightLeft - The Live Album or LeftRightLeftRightLeft - The Song being given away on the official website...

Has anyone here pre-ordered the Live At Abbey Road CD/DVD? Trinity Street ran Elbow's webstore, and, lucky me, the day after I pre-ordered it, they went into administration. They still managed to take my money though, fuckers. Elbow's news page insists all orders will be honoured, but the boxset is now being sold through HMV.com. Will I be getting the album from HMV, then? I'm starting to get a bit worried. I mean, £20 is a hell of a lot to spend on an album, and I'd like to be sure I'm going to get it for the price... Is anyone else in the same boat as I am?

My stepfather works as a baggage handler at Sheffield Robin Hood Airport. Does anyone want to take a guess as to who's equipment he unloaded yesterday? ;)
