I was in Florida when it happened, I remember waking up to watch Regis and Kelly, and I saw the 1st tower get hit, being half asleep I thought I was watching a movie preview or something, then as I watched i realised it was real, then the second plane went in, and I really woke up....then it just progressed....my ex girlfriend who I was with at the time has a sister, who's husband is in the army, he was in the pentagon when it was hit, luckily he was ok, but for those few hours after, when there were no communications except the pictures we saw, it was a nightmare. i remember the feeling of utter uselessness, just sitting there, watching people jump hundreds of stories to the ground rather than burn alive, and that has never left me. My infant school teacher's sister was in tower one, they never found a body, I knew her, they are family friends. She was only in New York for two days on a business trip. Everyone was affected that day, every race, colour, creed. it wasn't just a New York thing, it wasn't just a US thing, it was an attack against humanity itself. I could've flown today to see Jessy, but I defered back a day and am flying tomorrow, I just didn't feel safe flying today, I wonder how many did. It's sad something like that has had a huge effect on everyone. Anyway that's my memories and views on 11/9/03 (UK date) Hope I haven't brought anyone down too much.

My MP3 collection is erm about 250 songs at most big...a whole best of Queen collection, which I own the CDs for, best of The Beatles collection, which I have the tapes (remember tapes?) for, and American stuff I heard over in the US that you can't often find here, and if you do, it's import and twice the price :angry: (Bands like 3rd eye blind, Staind etc) When I do find US bands albums I do usually by them (ie 3 doors down) Rest of my MP3 collection is old 80's stuff that you would be hard pressed to find except on crappy compilation albums, and ill be buggered if im paying £12 or so on an album where I want only 1 song. I think the only time I have mailiciously downloaded MP3s is for Matchbox 20....saw album in HMV on import for £18, I looked at it, wrote down the songs I wanted, and came home and downloaded them...again I wasnt paying the stupidly high import price for only 3 songs that I wanted.

i missed a few episodes this week and i am lost.... Robert won HoH, put up Jun and Alison, yet yesterday, all four were still in the house, about to do HoH again soon...why didn't Alison or Jun go? Did Alison with veto again and take herself off forcing Erika up? if so why they all there... btw in UK we are 1 day behind, so i may know tomorrow anyway :) Im just confused why all 4 were still in the house.
