I find the term 'virtual friends' odd because it implies said friends aren't real people or that they don't actually exist. And I find the term 'foreigners' very odd because it seems to imply xenophobia.

I have a very tough time judging to be honest, I shrug off anything I judge superficial, for example, chick flicks and Nicholas Sparks do absolutely nothing for me...but something as simple as a cloud formation, or driving home in the dark can sometimes make me very emotional. Some of my favorite songs are love songs, but no, I don't put them above other songs simply because they're 'love' songs.

Haven't seen that before. Someone should make a parody where he bites the guys head off.

I hope July isn't 'too early' for Oscar consideration. The Oscars suck for the very reason that they never consider a full year's worth of movies, but generally the most recent movies from each actor. But if they remembered to nominate The Dark Knight, they should remember this movie.

I don't believe I said that, I've read that the original concept for the movie dates way back, but the way it was adapted for the screen ripped off the matrix in numerous obvious ways. Multiple people being plugged into a machine causing them to be unconscious in reality but active in a simulated reality is unoriginal. The whole, 'we're dreaming? scene has its own parallel in the matrix. 'Walking around the dream (or program in the matrix) and demonstrating how the physics can be altered is unoriginal, the anti-gravity fight scenes were obviously inspired by the matrix. That said, the initial concept and plot were very creative and original, as were the subplots, thus I really enjoyed it.

I'll admit that I was spoiled by the accessibility of the neon bible singles when I bought funeral, so it took me a while to warm up to it, especially the neighborhood songs. But when I did I saw it had much more depth, and the ending stretch is amazing.

Briggins would definitely recommend you start with Funeral, as he's recommended it in the past to the same question.

I'll enjoy it more if I first hear it after I pop it out of the c.d. case and slide it into my car player on the way home. C.D. beats leak download everytime. Don't feel like explaining why, I'm just very careful when it comes to first impressions.

It's odd considering they're set to play the MLS all stars in less than a week. But I suppose its less about the contest than it is about growing U.S. audiences and selling tickets. Philadelphia just joined the MLS last month, so it's great for the club to have Man U stop by.

The similar sound/construction of most of the songs is downright frightening. It feels like a completely different band at times, but because of that I'm more and more convinced that's it's going to be really great by the 10th listen.

they're playing the second worst team in the MLS. I would say they have very little to gain.
