  1. that's why I don't bring it out in public, just like this thread shouldn't have come in public for the sake of a smiley.
  2. Aww poop, UT women lose early again. How strange that they have the most national championships and winningest coach ever, yet now they're choking and its our men's team (who nobody paid attention to until five years ago) that is suddenly taking over.
  3. that bump was unnecessary.
  4. Butler also beats Kansas St.! My madness is justified! And Kentucky loses, which is even crazier, but contrary to my wishes. Its impossible for me to win now. Duke's the only 1 seed left. Left side of the bracket will have no higher than a 5 seed.
  5. do you want me to show you?
  6. haven't seen you in a while...
  7. UT beats OSU! I had Buckeyes winning in my bracket, but as a UT fan I'm stoked.
  8. Well that's sort of a distortion. If you're homosexual, than obviously homosexual love is biological. In any case Plato was talking about the (mostly) nonsexual nature of agape love versus erotic love.
  9. some good points there Reilly. I partially disagree. On one hand it's debatable as to whether homosexuality is a 'choice' as such, but I'm more interested in the debate over homosexuality in the Bible. Yes, Leviticus condemns homosexuality, but its hypocritical for Christians to appeal to the book in regard to homosexuality because its 'laws' are widely dismissed in modern Christianity outside of fundamentalism. No one appeals to the laws alongside it which refer to women and slaves with the unfairness of the babylonian code of hammurabi. It's seen more as a historical document than sound advice as it runs contrary to the words of Jesus who doesn't even mention homosexuality in the gospel. Paul mentions it in his epistles, but generally speaking I believe there's insufficient evidence in the gospel to suggest that the Christian God has it out for the gays, or if so, it's a minute, arbitrary detail that is infinitely less important than the love they exude towards their neighbors. In any case, even if my opinion is ridiculous and all my gay Christian friends would theoretically go to hell, I don't see any contradiction in the new testament for a Christian to believe in the principle of separating church and state.
  10. Please elaborate, what about Christianity necessitates the belief that government should illegalize gay marriages?
  11. yeah, I was equally pissed that he called that as well as me until I realized I could still win if Kentucky wins.
  12. holy shit, Butler beat Syracuse! Amazingly that's what I had in my bracket, but I didn't honestly believe it would happen.
  13. same, I could read and write better than all of my classmates going into kindergarten...and I grew a superiority complex because of it.
  14. Hamlet for class Thus Spoke Zarathustra - Nietzche
  15. support gay marriage, support drug legalization, agree with marriage being overrated.
  16. who are you?!?!?!who are you?!?!?!?who are who?!??!?are you who are?!?!?
  17. What is that, a porno?
