Post piccies of the sexy Mr Berryman..
I saw some awhile back in a tabloid article about celebrities who frequented there. (It was in The Sun, or The Mirror or something.:\)

Post piccies of the sexy Mr Berryman..
By all accounts, the London version is more explicit than it's American counterpart. Seems like a fun place IMHO.:wink3: Also, why is there a wanking smily, and why is it a sickly green color? (I've been wondering this for days, since I ran across it.)

I honestly think that's Eno's influence. One of his trademarks in working with bands has always been pushing them to embrace all their influences, regardless of how they fit their sound, or how daft they may seem. Chris is quite obviously enfatuated with pop music, but he seemed to be a bit embarrassed by it until a few years ago, when he more openly started incorporating it into his Coldplay writing, while at the same time decreasing his outside collaberations.

The forum has been acting kind of funky (in small ways) all day, but I had an internet issue today, so I assumed it was on my end.:\

He always plays better when his wife is at the gig. Seriously (and understandably).

No, the original one in London. He's been photographed coming and going, and hosted a charity event there last year with Keira Knightley.- Post piccies of the sexy Mr Berryman..
He seems pretty open minded. I mean, he's a regular at The Box.:P- Small Reminders/Updates & The Coldplay Messenger (feat. Roadie #42!)
With perspective distortion, this makes the arena gig look stadium size.:laugh3:- Article: Man, I Used To Really Love Coldplay

I don't think it ever had much of a chance at an overall #1, certainly never an "easy" chance.- I can't beleive it, Princess of China Flops in the US
That's a pretty contridictory statement IMHO. On the one hand, you state that if PoC "flops", they shouldn't make similar music because it doesn't please mass numbers of people, and in the next paragraph, you say the strength of CB rests primarily in the fact that it doesn't have mass appeal. Aside from the fact that making music for other people's tastes is (IMHO) a really dumb thing for any musician to do, you can't have it both ways. Presumably, Coldplay wrote, recorded and released PoC because they liked it, which is as it should be.- Article: Man, I Used To Really Love Coldplay

IMHO Chris' outside projects pale in comparison to Guy's. Guy dabbles in a bit of everything these days, whereas Chris' sidelines are pretty much limited to writing a few songs with/for others, and even that has dropped off a bit over the last couple years. It seems to me like a lot of his "pop" stuff that used to go to others, is now being worked into Coldplay material.- Most Diverse CP member?
I'd say Will is by far the most musically diverse member, as he plays tons of instruments (6 in an average show on the MX tour). That said, Guy has the most overall stuff going on, with Apparatjik, his producing, his photography and his investing in antiques, cars, and real estate.- Article: Man, I Used To Really Love Coldplay
You'd have to ask the OP that.;) Seriously though, it's a bit ridiculous not to expect such an article to get a largely negative reception here.- Article: Man, I Used To Really Love Coldplay
How about this: It's not so much what he said (though plenty of people do disagree with him). He makes sweeping generalizations, passes off his personal opinion as "Ironclad fact", and generally writes in a snarky, sarcastic tone that puts people off. Some people like Coldplay's later material, some don't. Listen to the part you like, and don't put down others for liking the part that you don't. No band owes it to people to keep making a certain kind of music, and no one's forced to listen to music they don't care for. Everyone wins if everyone just leaves each other be.;)- [28-Jun-2012] Coldplay @ St Pete Times Forum, Tampa, Florida, USA
They may not be staying in the city. For the past couple tours, they've hubbed all their shows in Florida and the surrounding area from Miami. (I think). The reason they're not usually at the building early is that they're most often flying in.- [22-Jun-2012] Coldplay @ American Airlines Center, Dallas, TX, USA
You were expecting anything else? This is one of those "how it was, so shall it ever be" things.- [22-Jun-2012] Coldplay @ American Airlines Center, Dallas, TX, USA
In the past, multiple nights hasn't always meant that's where the hub is. The general Idea is to move the band as little as possible, which means choosing hubs that cover as large an area as possible.- [22-Jun-2012] Coldplay @ American Airlines Center, Dallas, TX, USA
If Dan was up there, I'd say it's a pretty good guess something wasn't line checking properly. Not something you want to happen soon before a gig.- [22-Jun-2012] Coldplay @ American Airlines Center, Dallas, TX, USA
Unless the gig is in wherever is their current hub, the band typically get whisked away very quickly. I think they usually have a tight flight schedule. - ~*~ The Official Will Champion Appreciation Thread ~*~
