Chris ^^ Voltaire or Leibinz? Quickly and why.... For me it's Radiohead, then Coldplay, then Muse. I enjoy the three, but Radiohead makes different music. And as mentioned before, Radiohead and Coldplay are on a greater composing level, but Muse is very fun and full of energy. Radiohead is easily my favourite band among the three, but sometimes grabbing the guitar and playing Supermassive Black Hole with lots of reverbi means lots of fun.

I remember listening to Danse Macabre in a cartoon when I was a kid. Don't remember which one though. It must have been in Bugs Bunny, or Mickey or Tom & Jerry. Btw it's amazing that current toons (well actually I may be wrong, but last time I checked) are rubbish, when classic ones such as Bugs Bunny & Buddies and Mickey used looots of classical music. (And of course the plot etc)

What the hell this thread all of a sudden has 60 pages; if I remember correctly, the last time I checked it was around 25.

I like him: Like romantic and some early modern composers his work is dense and intense, fantasy and feelings play an important role, but in my opinion, will never be as intense and deep as Bach's fugues and fantasies. I see most romantic, modernist, post-romantic, impressionist, expressionism etc (I'm unacquainted with the lots of other trends of the 20th century, like minimalism) as perfect soundtracks, while Baroque music is rather ethereal and deep. It's like grabbing a violin and make it speak to the infinite and receiving the response in your spirit.

Baroque blows them all! I'm into Biber's Rosary Sonatas right now. The fourth is easily among my favourite solo violin pieces.

Bellamy's voice is much more powerful, but Yorke's one is much more beautiful. The only resemblance I see is the use of falsetto and a few songs on The Bends and the wild part of paranoid android. But it was not cheesy :P

I love them all (Cp, Rh,Muse) but my favourite is Radiohead. And I fail to see the resemblance between them except for the use of falsetto.
