I just confused the two as well. I pretty much only look at the avatar and only look at the username if I have too. I'm more of a visual (pictures) than language person.

  13. I pretty much don't know that much about Hinduism. Well, pretty much nothing. :/ There was this one girl I knew who was Indian (perhaps Hindu?) .. and the only thing I heard from her was that she wasn't supposed to eat meat? (But she did sometimes, anyways). But I would be interested in learning more about it. That and Buddhism. :)

As you probably read there, I'm not a fan of digital cameras. If you want to keep the pictures, and asign them values, as I do, do not get a digital camera. I love manual cameras, but you have to know how to use them, otherwise you are going to "loose" all your films, at least the first 5  The automatical cameras solve the "problem" or the encuadration (I suppose you say it like that!) and reduces the amount of "wrong" photos to nearly non, but they are restictive, at least that's what I think. That's why I love the manuals, which are more resistant and gives you total freedom, at least compared with the others!. But If you going to take a class, you rather go with the manuals; they are the base of all and they'll teach you the "working process" of it, so you shouldn't have any problem after that. At least not mayor problems. Laura, that must be so nice! I love the little black and white photographs, when they are like on a strip; there is a moderator from Pensylvannia here and she showed some pics of her on those "strips", I love them! I also like the negatives, but not the ones you get on the shops; the home made ones. Your flat must be beautiful, at least that's what my imagination says :lol. Thanks Kalter! :D (Sorry but I didn't want to quote three times) Do you have any suggestions on what an amateur should begin with ( type of camera)? The thing that I think I would like about the manual ones is that you'd be able to play with it more than just an ordinary camera. You can kind of play with the digital ones, but I'm not sure it's the same as some of the more "old fashioned" cameras.
  17. Yes! 100% in health class! Woopee!! Ahh the good old days. When all you had to worry about is passing health. :idea2:
  18. I visited there for like a second and I think there were two Alberto threads. :stunned: I never even had contact with this guy I don't understand why he's so famous. :stunned:

Yes and no. When I think about it, well, people will end up having something in common. So they'll end up getting along. But it is weird to think that you can't see the person on the other side. It is just words, and real life is more than "just words". That's just my take on it.
  20. I never kill anything. I always feel so bad for the little creatures so I usually try to capture them and then fling them out the window. :sneaky:

I want to get into photography. I'm gonna have to get a camera first. And then, probably take a class. I can't decide if I want a digital cam, a manual one, or just get an advantix. Maybe someday I'll take a class too.
  23. :D hmmm... i can't recall. nice pic though.
