welllp... this is a let down. i cant believe they only gave us toronto videos... it doesnt even have anything to do with the new album. how did people get life in technicolor if its not even part of the puzzle? hmm this has been a disappointing coldplay day!!

maybe its cuz of me... i just entered on my moms email! hahaha

no dont get me wrong i looove this commercial. i think it's awesome. i just hope they dont go 'commercial wild' and start letting everyone use their songs. i remember reading somewhere that in the past theyve denied companys like gatorade from using their songs and i think that's really cool.

hey i never thought of that. that would be awesome. if they released a single for one of the 'big' songs they left off the album because they didnt want safety nets to fall back on or w.e. It would also be like that old prospekt post where he said some top division songs would be released independantly. hmmmm interesting!

i like it. the backround and stuff even kinda fits with the whole paint theme. very cool. i wish it was longer!! i dont think this really counts as coldplay doing a commercial... its just itunes advertising for the new album. im still hoping coldplay sticks to their old morals and doesnt give in and start letting their songs be used for commercials. itunes is ok because its just to promote the album but i hope they leave it at that. boo commercials!!

alright i really hope the announcement has nothing to do with the toronto DVD. like... all of the videos are already on youtube and most of us here have the mp3s as well. i just want it to be something new and exciting... besides how could a DVD have huge global reach or w/e

hmm i think everyones getting a little too hyped. coldplay never distinctly said ON MAY 21 WE WILL ANNOUNCE HUGE NEWS! they just said the third week of may there would be something announced around a single which was supposed to be realeased on may 21. and there hasnt been anthing said about the release of single tomorrow so i think there is a good chance there will be no news. i hope there is but i just dont want everyone on here flipping out if there isn't... :P

yea i went to botswana a few summers ago and volunteered at an orphanage. every sumemr since i've tried to get out and volunteer somewhere else but i have the same problem as you... i don't want to pay a lot and i don't know which programs to trust and what not. so if you find anything good let me know!

yea a lot of people have caught the paranoid/42 comparison. but i think the despcription of 42 sounds a lot darker and a ton different. i hope 42 meets all of its hype. its CRAZY how much hype its getting. like NEVER have i heard of a song which has gotten this much hype when no one has even heard a SOUND CLIP or anything close... haha idk its crazy but it makes me so excited to think about it.

haha not to be a downer but i really dont think it's a double album. it says on the recent new star (about the album being available for preorder on itunes) that the tittle is 'Viva la Vida or Death and All His Friends". i used to be suspitious about itunes but really if you think about it they are just the sellers of the album. everything coldplay has told us has implyed that it will be the full title. i still think theres a chance there could be a disc 2 (like in rainbows disc 2) type thing but i dont think there will be a double album where each will have one title. however i do agree its quite possible just in my opinion it's not likely! hope i'm wrong though!

i LOVE inside my head. but i also like banana co and yes i am. so idk which 2 i want to win. but i voted for pop is dead. its just not a song i would ever seriously listen to for enjoyment.

definately going to this show. i looked at our school schedule for next year and although this show is on a monday night we don't have school the next day for some reason. i'm so pumped. even though i got pretty good seats for hartford i want to get even better seats for this show just because i care more about a show in my hometown. ive never seen them in boston either because when i saw them in 06 the closest one was in manchester, NH so thats where i saw them.. ahh im soo excited for this but it's still so far away!!! who else is gunna go??

i think some of it might have to do with the fact that the tour is before the release of the CD so a lot of the people who arent die hard fans like us havent really heard anything from coldplay in awhile and dont release that they are about to launch a tour. idk it just feels like coldplay isnt getting a lot of mainstream hype like they usually do for their tours and stuff. which i really have no problem with...

ahhh my friend just called me from the Dallas concert during 'jigsaw'. it sounded AMAZING!!! i cant FUCKING wait till august!!!!!

i don't think i will... theres something that feels so cheap about downloading a leaked album. listening to the official CD for the first listen is so genuine and nothing is better.

yea biggest question of my life at this moment is whether i will DL it on the internet when its out in japan/UK or wait until the formal US release date.

personally i hope they are just talking about a formal release of viva la vida or something. i think a 3rd single is too much. idk about you guys but i don't want this album to be COMPLETELY spoiled before it actually comes out. if we got another single this week that would be our 4th song which is almost half the album. i think best case scenario would be viva la vida with a b-side. along with that big global announcement. but i think getting 42 now would be a complete spolier! just my opinion though...

i dont get why so many people are including Lost! in their setlist predictions... we havent even heard the whole song yet.

i think thats the best setlist yet because #1 they didnt open with all i need, #2 they closed with idioteque, #3 they played jigsaw and opened the firs encore with it, #4 they played you and whose army in the 2nd encore, #5 street spirit. no karma police or paranoid but everything else kinda makes up for that. i'm very jealous. i have a good friend going to the dallas show tonight too so hopefully ill get a phonecall during one of my favs :)

yea 104 row E sounds ridiculously good. i got floor section 6 row L. at first no floor seats were available but then at like 10:20 they came up so i got them.
