i like the long intro of violet hill tho.. when i first heard the song the intro was really making the song grow on me, until he started singing and completely changed the mood of it... i still liked it but i really thought because of the intro that it was going somewhere else..

well if the rest of the songs in the album are the right mix of the way this song sounds with the way violet hill sounds, we should have an amazing album... cant wait

well this is exactly what i had in mind the album was going to sound like after reading all those reviews... This does sound like some experimentalism.. but violet hill is a completely different thing tho. Really looking forward to hear a spell a rebel yell soon!

thats what is prob the hardest thing to get used to, the new guitar sound.. I really like it in the part before the chorus, and the "solo" riff part. But I wish the song had more guitar on it. it is very bassy, which i think is another thing that makes it so different. Overall I do like the song, I just wasn't expecting the change like this, reading all the reviews and stuff i really thought they had gone more radioheadish with the songs. I dont hear much experimentalism in the song, its just different.

alright now it makes sense. I just never really saw them writing the titlw as the whole thing, plus i dont like the whole thing haha. but i guess then, it does say in the email. weird. they really pulled off a lot of confusion all through this new album for sure.

I doubt that. i think it always was viva la vida OR death and all his friends and they chose viva la vida. but somehow everyone got all hyped about those things going together. i think that if the whole title was viva la vida or death and all his friends thats what the official cover would say.

I dont understand why people still call it "viva la vida or death and all his friends" to be honest. the artwork is there and it says clearly "viva la vida" no death and all his friends stuff.. It would have been cool if they had released "violet hill" tonight by a live broadcast of them playing it. and then tomorrow we'd get the free download of the recorded version.

it's ok i guess.. Im not a fan of that painting but oh well. I would have liked more if they had used those red and black stripes on their site as the cover. I do like that they chose to keep only "viva la vida"!

im not buying all these things... I mean, until prospekt writes something new like "official album name is viva la vida or death and all his friends" to begin with, cause the latest official news from them, titled the album simple "viva la vida", which I actually prefer.

I agree! Im sure its just "viva la vida" but people keep assuming that its just the shortening of the title...

because prospect means an apparent probability of advancement, or the outlook for the future, as something to look forward to. Which is also why I believe whoever writes these notes signs prospekt (xcept they or he threw in that k to make it cooler) .. it puzzles me that people think it was a song. I can understand why people misunderstood prospekt with it being the title of the album at first though. But not a song. anyways.. thats just how i believe it to be. They'll prob talk about all these things in interviews and stuff.
