  1. That song brings back so many amazing memories...
  2. It's in Holland.

I'm glad he's doing it this way. The material he's been sitting on for years finally gets a proper release and the 'far-out' screw-the-past album everyone was hoping he'd make will get a separate release. And it's good that he doesn't 'forget' his old songs and still wants to play them live.
  4. I've seen them a couple of times in the past (actually, I saw them last week on Friday as well), but I'm REALLY looking forward to their acoustic gig next week in this location:
  5. They obviously can't play a song like VLV without backing tracks, but on some tracks it seems completely unnecessary. And they definitely shouldn't use it for vocals. I remember there was a lot of fuss about the guitar tech playing acoustic guitar during Yellow in the AROBTTH days, but I had no problems with that. They didn't try to 'hide' it, he could clearly be seen at the side of the stage. But they should get rid of the backing tracks for vocals.

OK, the songs I wanted most to return have been brought back to life. :) Can't see them play Green Eyes/Warning Sign/See You Soon on this tour (all too similar to Us Against The World) unless they decide to add a 2/3 song acoustic set once they hit the arenas. Amsterdam could be played at an arena gig in Holland I guess. And maybe this time they'll rehearse it (they screwed up when they tried to play it on the two previous tours).
  7. It was still in Belgium and luckily, our fines aren't as high as the ones in Holland.:)
  8. Ah, ik hoor net dat ik ook op Jim was. Maar heb het zelf dus niet gezien.
  9. Hip! In 't publiek gefilmd?
  10. Noooooooooo! They shouldn't scrap Yellow! That's like, their signature song!:P Outside of the UK, Trouble was the biggest Parachutes hit, so I never understood why they scrapped it. Although I do understand that having Trouble and The Scientist and Fix You in the setlist would be overkill. Same goes for having Talk, Speed Of Sound and Clocks all in the set I think.
  11. Damn, just received a speeding ticket. I got 'caught' on my way to Pinkpop. This just became a very expensive Coldplay gig. But oh so worth it! :)
  12. I can see them cut a song like Clocks or The Scientist. After all, they rarely played Trouble on the two previous tours. But I doubt we'll see much X&Y or VLV album cuts make the setlist in the future. I was actually surprised they played Cemeteries Of London on this tour. Didn't expect that. Wonder if it'll stick around in the setlist.
You, the only sense the world has ever made This I need to save A simple trinket locked away I choose my final scene today Switching off with you Of hierbij: [ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SWCL_cbASR4]YouTube - ‪Elbow - grace under pressure‬‏[/ame] We still believe in love - so fuck you
  20. They blew everyone away in 2002 by playing new songs at Glastonbury, so I guess they'll definitely play as much new stuff at Glasto as they did at the other festival gigs this year.
  21. BBC 2.
  22. For some reason, I thought Clocks was the only song at Pinkpop that didn't sound as good as it used to. I still prefer the version they played on the AROBTTH tour. With the Twisted Logic tour one as a very close second.
