I don't think I've ever seen a Coldplay gig without at least one fuck-up. Usually, they're quite funny and don't really harm the flow of the concert. One exception was Amsterdam at the secret gig in Amsterdam in 2005. Chris just didn't manage to get it right and stopped playing it after a couple of tries.

I really can't see anyone in Coldplay pull off a good solo album. Maybe in a couple of years, but definitely not right now.

I agree with Reilly on this. Besides, you could argue that 27 is an age when a lot of artists reach their creative peak, which makes the deaths seem even more sudden and tragic and thus turns them into iconic figures.

They didn't play at the same time. They played right before Coldplay. If you demand (and get!) such a spot at a festival, you shouldn't be complaining. Lots of other bands below them on the line-up would have deserved that spot as well. Doesn't take anything away from the brilliant stuff they've done in the past though!

Never got to hear Razorblade, but Ize Of The World, Vision Of Division and Electricityscape sounded great live! They should at least bring one of those back.

He should do another Reindeer Section album. Those were quite good!
