  1. Chris Martin's Shirt at the iTunes Festival I love this shirt and have interest in purchasing it. =) Does anyone know the brand? Also his shoes were splendid. I seem to remember an article that mentioned it, but can't for-the-life-of-me find it. Thanks!
  2. [ame]www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQFosUzpeJI[/ame] How do I embed the video exactly? Thanks for the help!
  3. At the moment, Christmas lights has been all I play... I also love playing the outro of Charlie Brown into Life is For Living... Politik has to be my all-time favorite though. =) P.S. -- all on piano
  4. No Ohio or even western PA tour dates is a real bummer -- I do hope they add more... I can't wait another 3 years to see Coldplay live!
  5. As strange as it seems, they always make it to Ohio. I saw them in '08 in Cleveland and Cincinnati so either of those would be fine. I'd also settle for Pittsburgh, LOL.
  6. I guess I'll just have to add it in. I'm loving this version as well because it starts with Jonny's guitar! BTW, He does harmonize, just not the "if we could float away" part.
  7. What an amazing crowd, concert, performance. I almost wish I had dished out the $600 to fly out and attend, but after watching it on youtube, it had the same emotional impact minus the traffic jam and sore feet. =) For shnits and giggles and since this was my 3rd live streamed concert that I've watched, I took my laptop to my piano and played along with the concert from Life is For Living on. I will say, It's kind of cool to be playing along with Chris live and if you've got the chops (I'd like to think I do) and have all the songs memorized then it's quite a bit of fun. Pretty epic Friday night for not leaving the house.
  8. I feel like it may just be the intro song spelled out, but if not that's great! People read into the titles too much, that's for sure. It's Coldplay, so I'm going to love whatever they put out, regardless. I can't wait to play the crap out of the album -- Lord knows I'm already listening to LP5 releases way too much.
  9. Something about Coldplay in an intimate setting just blows me away every time. I loved this concert today and it was really cool to get the "people who couldn't be here watching on the internet" shout out during Life is for Living. That made me smile. I really do adore this band.
  10. I'm really not sure, but I've been watching a lot of the other iTunes Festival performances and a lot of the lesser known bands would only play about 30 minutes because they just didn't have a big enough catalogue of music. A band like Coldplay with such a huge list of hits will almost surely play an hour to and hour and a half. I imagine it will be like their festival perfomances length without the encoure.
  11. My Chemical Romance played a 1 hr and 27 minutes set so I think that Coldplay will be at least an hour.
  12. Not sure if this is common knowledge, but for those of you who aren't great with computers. The Coldplay concert will be streamed live by video directly through iTunes music store. All you need to do is download iTunes 10.4 for free by going to http://www.itunes.com Then simply make sure you are connected to the internet, click on the 'iTunes Store' tab on the left-hand side of the application under the 'Store' tab and then on the main page at the top you should see an iTunes Festival ad. Click on the ad, and then on the next page you should see a "watch live" link. Easy, free and a very reliable stream provided by apple. =) (so no worrying about losing signal or being disconnected... lol)
  13. We'll able be able to watch it live on iTunes as apart of their festival streaming (which has been fantastic, by the way)! http://coldplay.com/newsdetail.php?id=762 It's the next best thing to not being able to go! So pumped to see Coldplay in a more intimate setting!
  14. stream just disappeared. =( I was only gonna get to see about 15 min at this point anyway. Youtube it is. lol
  15. Wow those are some harsh responses people. Good go at mate!
  16. This stream was great for about 20 minutes and then it was all dodgy and pausing and now it simply will not work. I won't get my hopes up, but will check back.
  17. 112 -- just started getting into the whole "unreleased live concert album" thing. Have had LIVE 2003 and leftrightleftright though. =)
  18. It's working for be, but does anyone know what time Coldplay is going on? It says 23:40, but does that mean 11:40pm local time because that seems extremely late for them (but not for me in America).
  19. Thanks for the help! Quick question, let's say I did drive out to Grant Park -- does Lollapalooza have 1 day parking setup somewhere or am I going to be trying to find somewhere to park (like if I went to a Bulls game)? ... and how close will I get? =) I'm 22 and in great shape so walking is no problem. (just throwing that out there) BTW, I'm researching the airfare right now and it's reasonable. =)
  20. I almost forgot that Coldplay played Green Eyes on the B-Stage at the Cincy show in '09, which was amazing! I'd love to hear See You Soon... or Shiver. =)
  21. I need some advice Coldplayers -- I live in Northeast Ohio, about 6 and half hour drive from Chicago. I really want to go see Coldplay because I'm not sure when they'll announce a U.S. tour, but I'm the only one that would go. Also, I'd only be able to go for that day only. So I can either: a) Drive 6 1/2 hours to Chicago, watch Coldplay, drive straight back to Ohio (with a lot of Caffeine.) b) Fly out to Chicago; stay at crappy hotel at airport, rent a car to drive out to Grant Park, spend the night. drop off rental car, fly back home -- all for around 700 dollars (including ticket). c) Drive 6 1/2 hours to Chicago, watch Coldplay, find hotel for the night, drive back home next day. d) not go. =( Money is sort of an issue until I talk to my parents. =) At this point, it's sort of a dream to go and see Coldplay at a festival like this since I've seen them twice at the Q in Cleveland and once at a pavillion in Cincinnati.
  22. I love this thread. Thanks for the fun videos! =)
  23. Was listening back through the recording and did anyone else notice Chris totally swallow his tongue in the verse of Politik? Give me strength reserve control... *excuse me* ... haha! Always the consumate professional eh?
