I feel very tired and I'm still in disbelief, but I'm going!!! Like so many, the HMV site proved difficult for me, and a couple of times I got as far as putting tickets in my basket before it let me down. I am unbelievably blessed to have friends on the board who were also trying on my behalf. Thanks Mimixx for doing your bit and "Thank you to the wonderful, amazing Chris. I got a card from Hester today because we were talking about this project on Twitter and decided to send each other cards too. I think a lot of people will have sent extra cards because of this That Lore is a clever girl!!!

I think some people may end up with New Year cards rather than Christmas cards... but then not everyone celebrates Christmas anyway. I guess it may be a good idea that if you have a friend on the bored who is participating in the project, give them a nudge and tell them to let me or Lore know when they have mailed the card - whoever sent them the match should be who they send confirmation to... or they can email the big red dude direct :D

I had a couple of posters who got in touch to say that due to personal circumstances they couldn't take part, so we got new partners for the people that should have recieved cards from them. We also made rematches for anyone that didn't open their original mail. We think we have all the possible problems covered... including one or two "back-ups" where posters have agreed to send a second card if necessary. I think Lore hit the nail on the head a couple of days ago - some people have probably sent their card, they just forgot to tell Santa or the Elves that it's on its way. In the words of our favourite boys... "Just be patient and don't worry" :)

He's probably just "playing the game" He's already been on this series, so he'd be an ideal guest on the final

There were a couple of drop outs but Lore and I have done our best to re-mtach people where necessary... all being well, everyone should get a card eventually. I got a lovely card from Hester today - thank you :kiss: - and I'm still waiting for my Secret Santa to arrive... hopefully it will come tomorrow to help me get over the disappointment of not getting a ticket for Exeter :rolleyes:
