Totally agree with LongLiveLife. Guy Garvey was speaking with Simon Mayo today and Simon asked him why so many people hate Coldplay. He replied with something like "Some people have a problem with success... but I can't understand why they'd hate a rich, talented, good-looking guy like Chris Martin who's married to a Hollywood starlet" His tongue was firmly in his cheek, but it's true that in this country we do have a "build 'em up, knock 'em down" mentality and class is still a really big issue

The set was beautiful, I love the new jackets and I thought it was a nice touch to have red, white & blue butterflies as it was the "Brits"... but Chris sounded out of breath a lot of the time - maybe it was nerves. Can't be easy performing to that kind of crowd... Guy Garvey seemed to enjoy it though - there was a lovely close up of him during the performance with a big smile on his face

Win win situation surely? I took my parents to see Coldplay in December, both turn 70 this year. I had my Pa on one side frowning at the volume of the intro music (to which he asked, "Is this Jay Zed? You don't like this do you?") And my Ma was singing her head off at the other side of me (not to Jay-Z). It was priceless so tell your children to enjoy themselves and that goes for you as parents too!
