  1. Babel on #3 I love you all
  2. I don't really dislike it but I also don't think it's a good song , they made it on one of the last days before recording and rushed it onto the album. To be honest that's the way it sounds to me too, the lyrics sound unfinished and the chorus repetitive . I liked it more after hearing it live a couple of times, but I still think it's not really a song that stands out. Could have been better I think, I love the '' We have slowly gone , Can we pour some water on'' lyric.
  3. Round 1. Don't Panic vs. Us Against The World (Love UATW though :) ) Round 2. Shiver vs. Paradise Round 3. Spies vs. Major Minus Round 4. Sparks vs. MMIX/Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall Round 5. Yellow vs. MX/Hurts Like Heaven Round 6. Trouble vs. Charlie Brown Round 7. Paracutes vs. U.F.O. Round 8. High Speed vs. Major Minus Round 9. We Never Change vs. Up In Flames Round 10. Everything's Not Lost vs. A Hopefull Transmission/Don't Let It Break Your Heart Round 11. Life is For Living vs. Up With The Birds Parachutes : 9 MX : 2 Only one I had think about was the first , but Don't Panic had a bigger impact on me. UATW is in my top 5 too though
  4. The Lumineers - Ho Hey
  5. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nBXvl7thiDM Realised that this actually made me want to listen stuff like M&S in the first place :)
  6. But actually there's no way in comparing , I'm absolutely addicted to both ! Coldplay :bliss: M&S
  7. Well.. I like Coldplay's 2012 movie for it's positive vibe and euforic feel  . And Red rocks dvd more for it's real-ness if you get what i mean . Coldplay live a'la 2012 has become a big entertainment show. If it'd be 2003 or X&Y live compared to Red Rocks , i'd definately go for 2003
  8. Worth the wait :)! such an inspiring dvd
  9. LP6

agreed and throw a little bit of spanish rain in there and a track like Amsterdam & See you soon
  10. I don't think they really lost that much fans, but I do think it's an album that unlike the others has it's flaws. The live experience was absolutely amazing and I've seen it 3 times, but as a whole , MX the album . I dunno , it could have been epic if they'd replaced a few songs with better and good old Coldplay songs (imo, POC, UIF, EveryTear,Paradise). Paradise is a great instrumental but I still think the lyrics and the chorus is too cheesy, Teardrop a great party song but let's face it the melody was copied (coldplay don't need to do that), UIF sounds unfinished and POC ..well fine could have been better but Rihanna+Coldplay that's band-image murder. +The Hurts like heaven advert, I mean why, why ! They've probably gained some fans, but lost image. I think a lot of people now see them as a band that concentrates on the epicness of the show and selling lots of records not per-se the music. I still absolutely love them and don't see them in this way, I support and love the music all the way but it's a shame they've lost a bit of integrity in my view.
  11. Ahhh that piano version of Us against the world .. Still the best and most meaningfull track on MX for me ! so good
  12. I've got tickets for Antwerp :D Can't express how happy I am with that, got one of the extra tickets because of the move to the Sportpaleis. Have you guys seen the Road to red rocks DVD yet ? It's great imo , a good warmup if you're going to see them next year too :) !!
  13. For me , it's 1.Mumford and sons - Babel 2.Of monsters and men - My head is an animal 3.The Lumineers - The Lumineers
  14. Yeah i know them , listened to them a few years ago ! they're cool and different :)
  15. Mumford & Sons - Holland road :smash:
  16. I'm all for the 2003 one :) I loved the 2012dvd but the songs in 2003 mean way more to me it feels more real and honest. I've seen coldplay live 6 times now, but it still kills me that I havent seen the AROBTTH tour :/ that was the best era for me , along with viva maybe
  17. Woahh I watched the whole DVD yesturday . It's way better than I expected it to be , so inspiring I was still smiling hours after watching it heheh ! It makes you realise how good the Coldplay fan base is and how much work goes into the shows and their music in general, for the guys. I'm so glad I had the opportunity to see the MX show 3 times ! Now I hope the next thing/tracks will be a bit more meaningfull , I mean I like the euphoric anthems like Paradise/CB/POC and ETIAW but a few more in the direction Fix you/42/Amsterdam/See You soon/AROBTTH .. I'd like to hear that :)
  18. Maybe it's taking them longer to record the EP :sneaky: heheh
  19. To hear Amsterdam live ! :)
  20. Ohhh, I like that !
  21. Brilliant , enjoyed every second of it ! Thanks !!
  22. Sure hope so, a studio version would mean absolute hysteria for me
