  1. Well said! Some of us like Every Teardrop and there are others that don't. What I don't understand is why people have to insult anyone with a different opinion or state that their opinion is a fact. For example, we have all seen posts with someone making the assertion that "everyone hates/dislikes the new song" or stating that "most of the fans think the song is terrible." That irritates me because I do not like someone speaking on my behalf. In my opinion, I absolutely love Every Teardrop and it is one of my favorite Coldplay songs. I have no problem with people who disagree with me. No need to make things personal. In the end we are all on this forum because for one reason or another we love coldplay.
  2. I have never done one before but this could be really fun. I checked amazon and they seem to have paints for fabric. Try this link: [ame=http://www.amazon.com/DecoArt-DASK277-SoSoft-Brights-Sample/dp/B003ULND82/ref=sr_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1307770200&sr=8-9]Amazon.com: DecoArt DASK277 SoSoft Brights Sample Pack: Arts, Crafts & Sewing[/ame] There seem to be other kinds too. :)
  3. Right now I am really loving Every Teardrop so maybe I could use some lyrics from this song.
  4. You will definitely have fun in Chicago. There is lots to do in the city. Not sure if you like pizza but if you do try Giordanos or Pizanos -- they have my favorite deep dish pizzas :D I initially only got the 3 day pass because I was worried that single day tickets would sell out. Honestly, though I am not sure whether I am that interested in the other acts so I don't know if I will be going Saturday or Sunday yet. LOL I will probably be exhausted from Friday and I am really only interested in seeing CP. :D
  5. airieslady thank you for posting this information. Definitely very useful. I had not thought of some of these items so this really helps! :)
  6. You guys have great ideas! I like your suggestions to wear a coldplay shirt or a bracelet so that we can identify coldplayers. I have a Viva shirt but it is black and a little to thick so it might be very hot if I wear it. Right now I'm thinking of either buying a new shirt on Coldplay.com or maybe making my own shirt with some lyrics. :D
  7. Thank you so much for your response. It is really helpful and gives me an idea of what to expect. My brother is going to the show but as of yet I have not been able to convince to come along and line up early. So for now it will probably just be me going alone. I am really happy that I will get to hang out with other Coldplayers though. This will definitely make the day go quicker. Do you have a three day pass? Will you pick up your wristband the day before? I am really excited about the show and I look forward to meeting you. :)
  8. LOL!!! Thank you! Yes as the concert date is getting nearer I'm starting to get nervous. I want everything to work out and I hope I am prepared :\
  9. I hope to meet my fellow coldplayers! I will be there at 11 as well. Is it crowded by 11 or do you think we will be able to get a spot in front of the stage? When doors open do you head to the front of the stage? I have never lined up for a concert (I usually have seats) so please forgive my dumb questions -- what do you pack/take with you for the long day? What if you have to head to the bathroom? I'm assuming you lose your spot? Again sorry for my dumb questions :embarrassed:
  10. Definitely epic! I love all of the new songs that I have heard!
  11. Same here. I have never seen Muse live so I was hoping to see them this year. I am so bummed that they are both scheduled to play friday  I am a coldplay fan first though so that is where I will be. Can someone explain how the process works to get in. I have a 3 day pass but where and when do they change it for a wristband? Does that happen at 11 the day of or can you get a wristband earlier? Are those of you lining up early getting there at 11 on friday? Thanks for any help/advice. I am totally new to this :embarrassed::embarrassed::embarrassed:
  12. I completely understand what you mean. I am baffled as well. I guess you can't please everyone. :\ Unlike some of the comments here, I love the lyrics. They are definitely very uplifting and in my opinion are in line with the theme of other coldplay songs such as Low, Amsterdam, Everything Is Not Lost, The Scientist, Lost? and How You See The World which focus on someone going through a difficult/bad time yet hanging on to hope that some how things will turn out ok.
  13. I completely agree with you. Like you, I noticed how Chris was so into it while singing the song. The song was a perfect closer to the show. :D
  14. This is a perfect song to close the show. I love the energy! Chris sounds great!
  15. Same for me. Princess of china sounds really good. I was so hoping they would have played it at today's concert so that there would have been an hq version.
  16. Thanks for working on this! Definitely this song is my favorite of the new songs :)
  17. Excellent post! I totally agree with you.
  18. ETIAW is great live. I love Chris' energy and how he is so into the performance of the song.
  19. The entire performance was amazing! I only wish they had performed Princess of China and Cartoon Heart. The boys are definitely in great form. I can't wait to seem them in August at Lolopalooza!
  20. Exactly! I don't understand. The song is amazing. I love the live performance of it too. Chris is so energetic and into it.
