  1. First time not in front of main stage in my "Coldplay-career", but this time I chose to go C-stage. We didn't get as much energy from the main and B-stage performances, but C-stage was not bad at all. Unfortunately for you I didn't record it all the way (wanted to enjoy it without camera as well ;-)) So enjoy my little video!

  3. Well, just got back home. Very nice concert, Chris his voice was in the best shape ever. We stood in the pit until the first encore an decided to walk back during the first encore to see the second encore from there. Fix you: best song ever. Awesome fireworks. Only missed Politik badly from setlist. This gig: 9/10 for me.
  4. How many concerts? 50? times an average of 30.000 xylobands? 1.500.000? Producing xylobands in those numbers won't cost 10-15 pounds per piece. It is no high tech item, just a receiver with some LEDs. Should be no more than 1-1,5 pound per piece.
  5. 400K just for the xylobands? No way. I think that's one zero too many. 400K is more likely the cost for the whole production for one night (setting up, pyro, rentals (light and sound) etc..)
  6. Hahaha; just posted by Anchorman on Coldplay Twitter (Chris is wearing the same shirt here):
  7. Excuse me for being honest. Horrible video, huge disappointment. Live version was so much better. Had a better feel to it than this pretentious piece of sh*t. Sorry.
  8. Just got home. Went to both gigs (rotterdam and antwerp). Same setlist, other crowd.... Yesterday was more of a party all around. Tonight the crowd was a little less intense imho. Still had a great time and looking forward to sept 6th! On a (rather long) sidenote: Having seen them for about 10 times now in 10 years I really feel they seem to play on routine nowadays. Sense that it's becoming more like a "must do" instead of a "love to do" thing. I'm not here to offend, and they are still the best band in the world by far, but I cannot help the fact that i feel they became too much of a mainstream band as I would like them to be. So maybe thats the whole issue.
  9. It was a fun night despite the cold. We were very fortunate to have experienced it.

  15. Hi Debs, I must say the new songs are super. The setlist was a complete surpise, and by the looks of it they had a monster show last night! Don't have a favorite yet though, must be the horrible sound quality in some vids. Can't wait for the album!
  16. Reminded me of this http://www.youtube.com/embed/3QMKr_EoSWI
  17. My theory; - The album is finished (the last couple of months have been very silent: R42, website updates etc.) - They played (rehearsed) 7 new songs at the family and friends gig 3 days ago. - Their concert at Glastonbury is going live in cimemas worldwide. What better time to release the album worldwide right after the concert... Where they played the new songs for the first time for all their fans! Call this wishfull thinking if you like, but it all makes sense.
  18. Just booked my tickets for Antwerp! *Fingers crossed for live album release concert...
