I was just listening to Solid Ground a little while ago and Chris mentions its gonna be great song with a brass band and all. Now, this was for X&Y so we all know how that turned out. And I'm not sure that Chris was 100% serious. But its not like the guys go around saying every song will have a brass band in it. So I was wondering if they perhaps cannibalised parts of it for Famous Old Painters. Obviously, this is just conjecture since we haven't heard Famous Old Painters or a studio version of Solid Ground. Still though. Had to share this thought. Debate! Or ridicule! But go easy...:P

yeah we all know bout the twisted logic tour dvd (how we saw the world, right?) but the guys themselves prob wanted to bury their memories of that tour once they finished. and since jonny was in such pain throughout and they were coming apart at the seams they prob didn't want the public to know that there and then. still, i'd loveta see it. but then i am a completist.

i think its a great idea to have it more like the live version. the opening drum is far more aggressive and really makes you sit up and take notice. then will coming in pounding away. and jonny unleashed with his riff. add in a gospel choir and lost! could easily be renamed "Lost! - So Fuck Off!" would rule the airwaves, imo :)
