  1. I like your logic! Let's hope they do indeed return. That does seem like an awful lot of big markets they skipped this time around. They could of easily sold out a third night in both Toronto and Montreal.
  2. ^^^ That's beautifully done :)
  3. I think you're right LFDiane. There's been alot of promo, festivals then a tour. Time will tell!
  4. Fingers crossed :)
  5. Any mumblings about the band coming back in 2013?
  6. I'd help you out but I'm across the pond!
  7. they did for montreal but were behind the stage (obstructed view)...the ones i saw anyway...my friend got some off kijiji or craigs list at cost - can't remember what site...if someone had something come up and can't make the show, sometimes you'll see them there...
  8. What I'm surprised at is they didn't let you just check your camera in the coat check and return to the show.
  9. It's usually the policy of the building not the band...although some people, like Prince, prohibit ALL photos. This, however, is flashed up on screens before the concert. The Bell Centre policy is no cameras - it says so on their website. I was there last night and saw many people checking their bags and/or camera bags in the coat check. Did they not give you that option? I've been to hundreds of concerts and never been allowed anything more than a small digital camera or an iphone. I'm surprised they didn't give you the option to put it in the coat check. That sucks.
  10. Having a shit video didn't help. I think with a killer video, it would've gotten more attention. I thought it would be the summer hit - guess I was wrong. Too bad, I like it.
  11. This video is even worse than The Hardest Part...
  12. Horrible video - I think it's their worst...and that's saying alot considering Hardest Part. They could've made a BRILLIANT vid for this...
  13. I agree that MX is their worst album...the songs don't flow together and it's too poppy. However, what ruins it for me is the horrible production. That smashing sound that drowns out the vocals at the beginning of Hurts Like Heaven is a perfect example.
  14. I thought they did a great job. If anything, the acoustic version showed me once again why I don't like the album - it's overproduced to shit. Paradise was ok; vocally wasn't bad. I really wish they'd ditch the uniforms though. They look stupid.
  15. The video is lame. The album is over produced. Never thought the band I loved so much would make music to "rave" to...
  16. For me, I like everything up to Viva la Vida. Mylo Xyloto is my least favourite album due to it's poppy, over produced sound. Having said that, I like Up in Flames, Us Against the World, CB and Major Minus. I hate ETIAW - both the music and lyrics are dreadful and the production on the other songs kill them for me.
  17. I miss it simply because I don't much like this new album. I thought Viva was miles better...
  18. so i bought the hard copy cd today, imported it into i tunes but it would list PoC in the right order. i'm assuming it's because it says "coldplay feat. rihanna" so i deleted 'feat rihana' but it still won't go into order. help!
  19. I agree...horrible, horrible song...I'm so disappointed by this album. How they made this after where they came from baffles me...PoC sounds like a fucking dance song...
  20. I didn't think it would be possible to hate a song more that ETIAW until I heard Princess of China...horrible from start to finish.
  21. I don't find them relatable...I find them horrible.
  22. I'm with you. I've been a fan since day 1 and always looked forward to every release. This is the only one where I think I will be underwhelmed. I hate the first two singles; they are poppy and completely devoid of decent lyrics. I thought Chris wanted to change that? I hate the "uniforms" and the fact that the last two albums have had themes where they dress the same all the time and play the same set list all the time. At least with Viva, it was a great album. We've all heard a bunch of tracks off Mylo and I have hope that with Charlie Brown and Us Against the World, there will be more on there to like. I just can't see how a band can go from writing some really brilliant songs to ETIAW and Paradise. ETIAW sounds like something Backstreet Boys should be singing. I'm hoping once the album is heard as a whole, I'll be eating my words, but I doubt it. The live set at Much Music was great, but this humility of "we thought only three people would show up" is stupid and wearing thin. It seems insincere to me now. Let me say, I hope I'm wrong. I will just have to hit skip when ETIAW comes on.
  23. it should have been more prominent...it's muddled :(
