Excuse me, I have an opinion as a fan and I have every right to post it in this thread. I'm not denying everything, I am sad that Coldplay as a band headed this direction, it's disappointing.

I was gonna overlook the lyrics and wait for the song, but that didn't play out either. My initial thought was that it's got to be a joke. I don't want dance music, I want guitars ... I want them to actually play their instruments, is that too much to ask? Now once again, there's gonna be keyboards on stage as an alias function, while most of the music is coming from the speakers and not from their instruments. Oh and look, the high notes on VLV worked so wonderful live for Chris, these are gonna work just fine too, I bet. Am I a hater now? Fine. I'm sorry, I sound pissy, but I was looking forward to a new song and I'm disappointed, I won't hide that.

June does not only have one member of the month, no, it has two! We would like to say thank you to EmmaLouiseSmyth and Braddock for their wonderful idea to create a Coldplaying Scrapbook. The idea was to send a book from Coldplayer to Coldplayer. Every person had their very own page to write stories, add pictures or simply draw on. Take a look at the thread to see what the participants did with their pages. Although the book has been lost in the mail, it still travelled a few thousand miles and reached 7 different Coldplayers before vanishing. Here's to Emma and Greg and the lost Scrapbook! Let's hope that the new one will reach even more Coldplayers!

It was for the Coldplaying Awards. I think three award winners were drawn and got a share of the prize money from a competition. I remember that, because Mich drew Rudy and Ren. :wacko:
