If you seriously think that ETIAW means musical progression ... sorry, but that is just ridiculous. It's not a progression, it's a deterioration compared to what every single member of the band is able to do. They made happy songs that are more than suited for festivals before, look at VLV, it's a beautiful pop song and musically it's still a million times better than ETIAW. I'm not saying everyone should hate the song, if it works for you, then yay, but seriously, stop trying to argue that this is progression, because it is not. Not in a million years.

I agree with you, Mich. The other boys seem to be happy to sit back and let Chris talk most of the time. He can be serious and answer questions without fooling around, but sometimes it just seems as if people almost expect him to crack a joke or be silly. It actually made me a bit uneasy when he said that, haha. He often gives the impression that he likes the attention when he fools around and makes interviewers laugh etc. ... but it's quotes like these that show that he'd really like the other boys to take the lead sometimes and have a break.

Well, the band has its "spies" on Coldplaying and I think all the speculation amuses them. :P

I think out of all the new songs, only 2 will really make it to the album. I'm afraid ETIAW will be one of them. Some of the new songs might even stay live-only songs.
