  1. I'm betting on a 2011 release. Based on their track record I don't think there's a chance of it happening any sooner. They are always full of ambitious talk, that seldom comes to fruition. Mark my words, Chris will hit the studio, and suddenly be sure everything they've done is crap, and the process will drag on from there.
  2. shiver is my favorite song off parachutes, but I've resigned myself to the fact that I will never hear it live.

Sounds lovely! Thanks for the post!
  4. I'm right there with you on the post concert depression. My sister and I just keep saying we wish we could see just one more, oh heck I wish I could see bout 4 more to be honest. Its just so nice to be in the same space with the bands who's music makes your day brighter.
  5. Quite delightful. They just never disappoint, what an imaginative and lovely video.
  6. I'll have a review tomorrow. None of my pictures turned out that good. We were about row 17 but it looks further because my camera is evil. Hopefully I'll get better shots tonight.
  7. Oh I'm right there with you. We just have to be determined. It annoys me to know end to see a bunch of snooty people up front who don't know coldplay from travis. No offense to travis I like them too just saying lol.
  8. We are going to show up around the same time. And yeah I'll be livid if she's lying but what are we going to do.
  9. yeah I hope its not on the side too, but I figure I've never been that close to the front either way.
  10. Holy crap we are sitting right next to you 67 and on lol. I've never met a fellow coldplayer before. :laugh3:
  11. OK I just got off the phone with them. The woman assured me for this show, there will in fact be seats, and that the ushers will show you to them. I asked her point blank if she was sure, and if that meant one still needed to show up early. She said she was sure and that because their were seats a person didn't need to show up early. Its so hot I'm really not keen on showing up early for no reason. I'm thinking I'll still show up at a reasonable hour and just frinkin kill them if their wrong. I just know that if I was going to stand in the sun for that long, there would have to be a better pay off than a seat I was assigned from the beginning. So I guess I'm not leaving that early.
  12. We are set to leave at noon too, I mean I can tell you right now I will be beyond pissed if the venue is just saying that so they don't get a line showing up. I'm definitely going to call too. See if we get more than one story.
  13. Wait what? That doesnt make any sense. They always have seat numbers written on pit ticket and lawn tickets for that matter, its usually just a way to keep track of how much space they actually have. . Are you sure about this?
  14. Ok I'm officially starting to freak out!!!!!!! I wont be able to post a review until wed most likely though, as I wont get back in until around 1 or 2 and then plan to be off early for sleeptrain the next morning.
  15. ugh I just looked up the forecast, and its supposed to be 103 degrees Tuesday. That does not make for pleasant line conditions, not to mention once we are in the pit surrounded by people standing all close. Quick question about the parking situation too, anybody know what time the lot opens? I mean for those of us who want to get there quite early...where do we park if it doesn't open until 4 like the shoreline?
  16. We have some tickets to the Sleeptrain ampitheater show on July 14th. A single pit ticket and possibly 2 tickets in section 112. I know tickets to this show are still available so we might be able to cut you a deal if anyone's interested, just pm me.
  17. lol sleep train is a mattress store, that I can only guess bought the venue.
  18. I don't think I can pull off an early arrival to this show, as much as I would like to.
  19. Wait a min, are you just supposed to text to enter, or do you have to go get some code from raleys and enter online?
  20. I'm pretty sure I could never hold out for 2 whole weeks lol. But I too am just praying they don't cancel. With only two weeks to go, I'm hoping they wouldn't pull the plug, so I literally am just praying. I have pit tickets, that will never happen again, they just have to do this show. I've never been closer than row 40. :::prays::::
  21. I've never been to this venue specifically but I have been in the lawn at a lot of other amphitheater shows, and its not that bad. Naturally the view is going to be from more of a distance, but if your coming with a large group and want to be able to dance and mingle with each other, lawn can be a lot of fun. And of course from my perspective there is no such thing as a bad seat at a coldplay show. And then at some shows the band has been doing a 2-3 song set from the lawn, so you could get lucky and end up near them for that.
