  1. God help me, I hope he never has the time lol.
  2. I've been there twice. The first time I was in the lawn, but closer to seats than the limits of the lawn. The view was alright, all things considered, but still not great. The sound was the annoying thing. A lot of it seems to get lost in the outdoor setting. The second time was actually for my first coldplay show. This time I was in the 200 section of seats. The view was pretty decent, especially as we were at an angle, and then Chris took a jog up to our area :D. The sound was still just so so but its a nice venue, in that its location means it never gets too awful hot or anything.
  3. I love coldplay, but that is not going to happen lol.
  4. Well the song that got me to buy the first album was trouble. And the song that got me to buy album two was the scientist, after that my fandom was cemented. My sister got hooked by In My Place, and my brother got into them with Speed of Sound.
  5. My sister is a regular shorty, where as I'm over 5'8" without shoes. So for her sake we are going to try to get her as close to the front as possible. Well heck I want to be as close to front as possible too, its just not as big an issue if I'm not.

First of all I agree with everything you said. Secondly just two things more really. 1) The costumes have to go. I'm sorry but they look ridiculous, I can only excuse them as much as I do because they are such a good band. Please please bring back normal clothes. I dont care if they all dress alike, just as long as its normal. 2) I didn't really care for Viva as an album, most of the songs were just passable in my opinion, but hate would be a strong word. Definitely my least favorite of anything they've ever done, b-sides included.
  7. If you have a pit ticket your getting into the pit no matter what time you show up. I'm not exactly sure how big the pit is at these places though. I've only ever done GA pit at small venues. So your distance from the stage is a mystery to me.
  8. lol I don't know maybe were just more practical than guys. That and peeing behind a bush isnt quite as appealing to us as it seems to be to men.
  9. Its very close to their best song ever...
  10. ohh every time I hear that song it breaks my heart we dont have a real recording.
  11. We have pit for Sacramento. I'm thinking of showing up around 3. I've had GA for die hard fan bands before, and its usually a pretty decent spot around that time. I've never dealt with a coldplay crowd without a seat though, so I cant be sure. My concern is that this particular venue is in the middle of nowhere from what I can see...so what exactly the bathroom and food situation is going to be during the wait I have no idea. I mean you cant walk 5 mile to use a restroom before the doors open.

As I see it, making a comment about her lack of singing ability, or her non-existent acting skills would have been fine, and warranted at this point, I'm really sick of the hype surrounding this untalented child. However what he did, hit way below the belt. He made comments about a 16 years olds looks and speech difficulties, those are things she cant control and shouldn't be thrown in her face, and the sex tape comment is just way beyond inappropriate. I'm one of the people that cant stand all of these untalented teen acts popping up, hell I cant stand most of the fully mature acts out there, but there is such a thing as common decency, and I think we should all remember that as much as celebrity's might annoy us, they are still people and deserve some privacy and to keep some dignity as human beings. Even if most of them are hell bent on throwing it away.
  13. I can only speak for what happened to us last year...We got an extra set of tickets after we upgraded, so we put them up on ebay face value. Nobody was buying, but then 2 weeks before the show we were suddenly in the middle of a bidding war and actually made a small profit. So you might get motivated buyers when all the seats are gone and its crunch time..
  14. I've never been in a pit for a coldplay show. Anybody have any ideas what time we should get there?
  15. It appears that better seats have become available...and umm if your partial to standing in Pit's you might want to get your butt over to livenation. I guess that answers my question about what happened to section 1, 2, and 3. I'm screaming inside right now!!!
  16. If your interested in getting better seats...you might want to check livenation right now...:stunned:
  17. well unfortunately no better seats for the shoreline cali show yet. But I'm checking every day lol.
  18. Lazy eye captured my interest in a big way, but I wasn't as impressed with the rest of the album. I'll definitely be checking out the new one though.
  19. Me too! Something just wasn't right up here. Every other show in the country had and some still have better seats available than we ever got a chance at...
  20. I'm behind that idea 100% ! Maybe Downey can harass him into it lol.
  21. I have to disagree with you whole heartedly here, that man looks nothing like Jonny Depp.
  22. My siblings and I refused to see it on principle with all the raving lunacy surrounding it lol. But the other night we were all at a friends house and she ordered it so I thought what the hell and started watching, holy crap lol. We were laughing so hard it was unbelievable. The graphics, the acting, the script, all of it was pretty bad. My two favorite laugh out loud scenes had to be his corny ass glitter moment, and then the dramatic first meeting complete with slow motion fan action, that sends vampire dude into convulsions lmao. I agree with the undeveloped relationship some of you were talking about, I have no idea what the books were like but I have to believe the author gave you more reasons to assume they belonged together than that movie did. The lead guy was kinda cute the few times he cracked a smile but nothing to write home about. And someone needs to seriously tell those two to lighten up, their teenagers with a crush for God sake, what was with all those breathy pauses in dialog? lol.
