I had no idea there was a black version! I got the coloured one. The discs were so vibrant they nearly blinded me when I took them out of their sleeves *LOL*

I am still in awe at people trying to classify Coldplay *lol* Their 7 albums are a journey through acoustic, alternative, rock, pop, dance, even r&b. They just miss jazz and they´ve almost gone through the full spectrum! haha (which reminds me of that funny video with Jonny playing jazz LOL)

I agree with what Jay said above about the "music engraved" part. I´ll list a few more reasons why I am into vinyl. And for the record (no pun intended) I am too young to have 60s nostalgia haha I was born when cassettes were popular, not vinyls hehe * The artwork on vinyl is amazing. You really get to see the beautiful covers, the colours, etc instead than having them in the mini CD version * They are just awesome to hold and browse through! So tangible in your hands :) Vinyl shops have great knowledgable personel. * The experience of playing a vinyl is radically different than CD or digital. Because it requires steps like putting the disc on, turning it, dusting it off, etc, you totally need to chill, lie down and enjoy the music! No distractions. Just the music 100%. * I must say the process of putting the vinyl on and all that has a calming effect on me! Probably because we tend to live very busy lives these days where everything moves so fast, it quiets the mind to watch the vinyl slowly spin :) * The sound is analogue and just "warmer" (hard to describe), it´s closer to what it would sound like being in the studio with the artists. * I must admit I love the low hiss sound of the vinyl spinning! :) * They look gorgeous in your collection, especially coloured vinyls are a real treat. * These days they nearly all come with free digital downloads, so you get the best of both worlds. Convenience and a beautiful collection :)

They´re definitely not a rock band, I am not sure they ever were? :) The guitars are definitely more muffled in the album than they are live, but I always find that to be the case generally? Thats the price to pay for this kind of production. We then have something to look forward to in the live concerts :) However I can clearly and loudly hear Jonny all over Ahfod, which makes me super happy :)

Finally! I called Barnes and got one of the four vinyl copies they got reserved for me! Heading there just after breakfast! Yuhuuuu! Can't wait :)

Alright I am tuning into the Facebook event. Italian interview doesn't seem to yield anything new so far...except Everglow being Guy´s favourite track.

Speaking of their kids now, nothing new so far that I can tell.

Praise for Beyonce now. Different voices for the album, Beyonce has the best voice on the planet

Speaking of Conference of Birds now, Chris explains that all we need is inside us we just need the key (what the poem is about). Everglow is one of the simplest songs of the album, Chris wrote it on the piano and the rest just added a few parts. Guy says its probably his favourite song off the album.

It´s gonna be dubbed as someone suggested before :/ I can understand italian I´ll try to write here if there´s something interesting, but I am sure this will be translated on Coldplayzone.it at a point in the near future.
