Thats what I was kinda thinking...that it should now be available throughout iTunes as its the same store? If I go to the US store now online it says it´s up for purchase.

So iTunes distinguishes the midnights of the various time zones within the same iTunes Store (the US one)? Wow I had thought once it was midnight in the east coast it would be available throughout the US iTunes Store.

MX special edition had lyrics as well I believe? Handwritten by Chris? And for Ghost Stories we got the lyrics as a separate PDF file or something if I remember correctly.

Yes I could see they did that from the vinyl video they uploaded on youtube a while back. So glad for some official lyrics on the album instead of relayed afterwards through anchorman hehe :)

Damn even if you dont play vinyls, its worth buying just for that gorgeous artwork plus download card! :)

Hmm this got me thinking whether it will be available on Barnes n Noble website at the stroke of the Eastern Coast midnight? hehe I am debating whether its best I show up at the store at 9 am or I reserve online as soon as it goes from pre-order to purchase.

Hmm try iTunes app - more- purchases And I am pretty sure you won't be double charge if you click "purchase" but I bet your safest bet is to get to a computer and check there.

That must be the East coast yes. It should be 20 minutes or so past midnight there now. It will roll out through the USA in the next four hours I believe, heading west :)

True. Thats what I think most people who use the gay word as an adjective mean.

Sounds like we have the same model LOL Mine was €150 and I also thought wow thats not cheap but its apparently quite cheap for a vinyl player so you won't get the best quality, far from it, but I still enjoy it with my headphones and I like that its portable

Yeah that would be the obvious choice LOL But I guess thats exactly what people mean when they say gay, they mean "men with a lot of feminine attitude/vibes". And yes this is far from an accurate use of the word, but I do understand the sentiment behind it. I dont believe most people who use it are homophobic or anything like that. Some I am sure still are, but they are far and few in between imo.

You know what? I think this is wisdom that comes with the years haha I used to stay up to catch midnight premiere of stuff like music and movies, until I found out I am not really enjoying it cuz I am too sleepy so whats the point? hehe So I guess I learnt my lesson as well, as you did :)

I remember critics hailing the latest U2 album (or one of the latest, cant remember exactly) and that going to be quite a flop...I honestly dont care for the critics, simply because music is subjective. What matters is that Coldplay play what they want to play and put their 100% and that they connect to enough people to sell enough albums to keep doing their thing hehe Thats really all that matters to me and I think to them too.

I get that point of view and I am no fan of commercial-filled shows, but as far as I can understand its quite an honour to be asked to play at the Superbowl, so I can understand them being excited about it.

I have not kept up to date on "what most people think of Coldplay" but I know they are the biggest band out there for a reason..there are enough people who buy their records hehe In the very beginning they were criticised for being too depressing or gay or whatever, then they were criticised and still are to some extent for being too earnest, but regardless of the critics the masses always loved them, all the way from Yellow through Clocks to Viva, Paradise, etc. I have no doubt they will " please the masses" as they always have done :)

No matter the opinions about it (and im no fan, I've never even watched it), it IS a huge gig and its gonna be a big deal for Coldplay and also a huge platform to show off the new songs as well. So its gonna be great! I cant wait to find out what choreography they are planning.

I hope not! I dont have a Facebook account and I could see the announcement video just fine. I hope its the same for the gig?

Happened to me in the past that a pre-order would first be released in the morning and not at the stroke of midnight. :mad: Hope thats not the case for you guys! Crossing fingers for you.
