^^Yeah I need to listen to this properly after dinner, now that I am indoors :) I´ve been blasting the album all day through Tidal on my iPhone all around Anaheim *LOL*
2. Oh god it will take me some time to read all these lovely detailed reviews, but I will! :) And later I´ll post mine :D So nice to share all this together...just saying... *happy vibes*

"Never give up" like Chris says ! hehe But at the same time I always keep an open mind on "what is meant to be will be" you know? I dont like forcing things, but at the same time as long as I feel it in my heart I´ll keep going for it :) *brofist* On we go! :)
4. Yeah I know what you mean! hehe But I am still hoping for some single release, perhaps on CD/vinyl? Some collectible editions or something always good to look forward to :)
5. Ok hold it there....Some people love Asfos! I totally do :) And I do like what Chris said in an interview (on the latest one on The Sun I believe) about Asfos being the gateway to Ahfod. I totally thought that when I heard the album! After the gruelling journey of Ghost Stories, the light at the end of the tunnel was Asfos, which then opened the door to the full celebration that is Ahfod. I like that :) It´s not derivative imo, it creates a nice thread from Ghost to Dreams.
6. You need to buy a duster brush :) Must have accessory for vinyl player hehe And I actually read Lana Del Rey brings a couple of vinyls in her handbag whenever she flies *LOL* How cool is that? haha I´ll have to bring my vinyl back to Denmark too whenever I fly, but I dont mind really , as long as its one and not 25 vinyls Ill be fine hehe

This song was meh for me the first time, but then it grew on me more and more. It does have a bit of a sad vibe, but with a hopeful determined finish, so I am digging it :) I think Tove Lo voice is a bit strange, like very high and faint? I dont know. I have to listen to it more closely now that I am home and there is no outside noise :)

Army of One did not really hit the first time I heard it , but afterwards it totally became one of my favourites! I am currently "fighting" for someone I love too, so that totally resonates with the theme of the song. Makes me love it even more :)
9. Check out the Facebook interview if you have not already. Plenty of good info on the origin of Ahfod there! I believe they said the title came first, so I guess Chris knew early on the album would be a comeback to a happy place "full of dreams" :)
10. I think he´s genuinely happy "to be alive" as he has said many times. His nature is inherently happy I believe! But of course a tough break up like that needed a Ghost Stories to get through... And yes ahfod is pop-friendly, but I noted plenty of alternative moments there actually: Everglow, Birds, the rock-ish title song, Amazing Day, Army of One and Fun are also half pop half alternative imo. And I have a particular liking for the strange yet infectious x marks the spot :) Oh and of course Hymn is very much R&B inspired :)
11. I meant buy it wherever you go, in Italy then hehe You should have no problems finding proper record stores there. They should still have them, unlike Denmark *lol*
12. Try "put your wings on me when I was so heavy, soar on a symphony". :) I dont know, I love the lyrics to this song, maybe cause they mean so much to me personally especially the angel and "drink from me" reference. And the feeling drunk and high reference , I so know how that feels when you´re so filled with love your head is spinning and you´re "shooting across the sky" :) I personally like how Chris is so immediate yet effective in how he describes things, but lyrics, like music, are so subjective. At the end of the day what moves you is what resonates with you.
13. I remember they said during the making of MX they had two albums: one quiet acoustic and the other more lively upbeat. They decided to mix them both instead of going for them separately. The result was MX, which has both some quiet acoustic songs and the uptempo ones. I truly believe that whatever song we have not heard is just not good enough to be heard, i.e. it doesn't have the stamp of approval of all our four boys, so I dont know..I am not so sad about not hearing unreleased tracks at the end of the day, but we are always hungry for more Coldplay music hehe
14. Hmm buy it during your Christmas holiday? :)
15. Amazon has it, the official Coldplay store too. Locally in Canada I have no idea, but I assume any good local record/multimedia store? :)
16. Like the little tidbit about x marks the spot :)
17. For anyone who´s interested in knowing, the vinyl comes with 320 kbps MP3 download card. It´s not lossless, but it´s probably better than iTunes.
18. Ok vinyl aficionados, can we get some love for the gorgeous vinyl edition of "A head full of dreams"? I mean it´s stunning it is :) Both the discs, the sleeve, the nice poster, heck even the download card ! Fantastic job on every little detail :)
19. My thoughts exactly. The cool part is that it´s portable and so retro. The bad part is that the sound is quite sub par, but even with this cheap player listening to vinyl is a pleasure. It kinda gives your ears a much welcome respite from the loud mixing of CDs and Digital :)
20. Yeah I knew I wanted to bring it there as soon as I got it hehe That place is so special to me and it just matches with the vibe of the album. I just so wish my arm was longer *lol* I could not make the record fit in two of the pics hehe
21. Meh a cheap one...looks a lot like a Crosley, just the danish version of it. hehe It was a good beginner player for me, though I saw Barnes has a whole vinyl player + speakers (good quality one too) for like $150. I would totally want that for Christmas from my future girlfriend *lol*
22. True! Though he still has not written ALL the lyrics. No "X marks the spot" lyrics which I so wanted grrrrr hehe But I loved loved the artistic handwritten display! So great to enjoy reading while listening :)
23. I totally agree with you on that! It is quite masterful that they´re always recognisable yet ever changing. I guess this is the perfect combo every artist strives for
24. Then I thought I´d take A head full of dreams to the place where dreams come true: the most magical place on earth, i.e. Disneyland! :D Thought it was a most fitting match :) #MyHeadFullOfDreams
25. So I picked up my copy at Barnes today. Here are some shots of the vinyl unpacking as it happened! #MyHeadFullOfDreams
