Concert- Not Impressed
I couldn't agree more! He looks like a typical straight man who can't dance - but he still has the courage to do it, and he looks like he's enjoying it, so big up to him for that! How many men just completely refuse to dance because they can't and are afraid to try and look stupid? Have you ever tried dancing like you just don't care? You're bound to look a bit silly, but it's SO much fun! Also, if you want to see nice dancing in a concert, you should probably go and see Take That or Justin Timberlake or Kylie :D:P

... and hello!
So I thought I'd officially say hello, I'm new :) Awesome forum here, although I'm a bit overwhelmed with all the info and the thousands of threads and posts, it's hard work keeping up with everything... :stunned: but also lots of fun. I've also been thinking about joining the perv unit :D :D

General Chat: Setlist
I kind of hope they won't play 'Fix you' as it makes me cry every time I hear it... Also, I'm not sure about 'The Scientist', it's such a beautiful song, but my ex-boyfriend used it to break up with me... so it's a bit ruined for me, lol.

Post piccies of the sexy Mr Berryman..
Wow, he's really sexy  Sorry to ask this, I'm sure this has been posted somewhere here in those 1956 pages of thread, but does anyone maybe know how tall Guy is? He seems to be a bit shorter than the others...

Am I mad for not liking "Yellow"?
I don't think you're mad, I kind of feel the same way about it as you do - although I DO think that it IS possibly the quintessential Coldplay song, it's just not for me :-) It's brilliant live though.

Random Coldplay thoughts...
You don't know how surprised I was when, after years of not being bothered with the looks of the guys who make this wonderful music, I found myself sitting on my sofa after seeing the Viva la Vida iTunes commercial for the first time, thinking: jeeeez - I think I fancy Chris Martin now!! :o I thought something was wrong with me, lol! But now I got used to it :D

Violet Hill Music Video
I agree I find the video very funny. But I also agree that it kind of takes the seriousness of the song away a little bit - if there was any to begin with.

Viva la Vida (song) = Beautiful...?
I love the song, too, it's also my favourite! I can't decide which one I like best really, they're all so great.

Yes
I love this song, it's so sexy :-) It's my favourite song off the album at the moment

[Daily Mail] Are Coldplay the worst thing that's happened to rock?(ADD YOUR COMMENT!)
What to expect from someone who thinks an apple is 'dull'?? That says a lot about the person who wrote this. Would be very funny if no one commented on his article :D

ALL FANS... LETS STEP BACK AND RE-ASSESS
This is my first post here, so I'm a bit excited.... but I'll still give it a go. I have to say I am absolutely blown away by this new album. I've always liked Coldplay, I have all of their albums, I've been to their concerts, and with this album now, I feel like I've grown with them or they've grown with me, however you want to put it. This album totally fits into where I am right now in my life, and since I like to believe that I've grown, it means they have grown as well ;) I loved Violet Hill on the first listen, and that rarely ever happens when I hear a song for the first time. Viva la Vida, the song, followed, and the same thing happened - and when I heard the whole album for the first time, it kinda felt like 'coming home'. I love Viva la Vida - and Death and All His Friends :smug:
